Homosexuality a "temptation, not orientation"

Former homosexual Rev. Tim Wilkins of North Carolina, speaking at the Saddleback AIDS conference said something I would categorize as mildly profound.

For Christians to love homosexuals like Jesus would, they should stop thinking of homosexuality as an orientation and start thinking of it as a temptation, says Tim Wilkins, himself "formerly gay." [source]

I agree with that. We believe there is only one orientation. Man was emotionally, relationally and sexually oriented towards woman and God pronounced it good. What is now called "sexual orientation[s]" is largely a man made concoction, a product of his sinful rebellion against God. Homosexuality -- a sinful condition-- then is part of the sexual divergence from the will, purpose and creative intent of God. Of course gay activists have attempted to coop this truth with "science".

Seeing it as such would quickly alleviate this social, and perhaps political struggle over the "rights" of homosexuals.

Time to ban the H-word

I want to be the first to go on record demanding the banning of H-word. The H-word is infamously the ugliest social slur ever created. The disgusting tone and the arrogant elitism behind it has no place in our language.

People, its time to ban use of the word "homophobe".

With all the fuss over the N-word (that's nigger or nigga in case you didn't know), we ought to take a fresh look at other equally offensive words. Words that are used to degrade and dehumanize a whole class of people simply because of what they believe or who they are. Michael Richards' n-word tirade only demonstrated that what's in you is gonna come out when the real you gets worked up. It wasn't an accident and it wasn't reflex reaction at all. Richards meant to say it in the most degrading way he could muster up. Now, the Comedy Club has banned its use and in the process revived a new national debate about its use.

So while we are in the banning mood, let's get rid of this nasty, hateful word. The homosexual activist community are the main culprits in the use of the h-word. Just like the hateful white racists of the Jim Crow era, they use the h-word as a weapon to silence, intimidate and subjugate their opposition. They call religious leaders, political leaders, parents, Even if a person simply and innocently questions the alleged normality of homosexuality, he or she is automatically branded a "homophobe". No one outside of the elitist gay activist's threshold of false social acceptance seems to be immune from the demeaning word. Actually its become quite fashionable for gays to hurl the nasty epithet at ordinary people who refuse to accept homosexuality as normal.
But its time for a change. Bernard Chapin, a Chicago writer noted:

One can be called a homophobe nowadays due to asking questions like, “So what exactly is the point of this parade?” or “What are you guys proud of here?” Just by asking a few questions (of which there are no easy answers) one can receive the same generic label that was applied to the vile murderers of Matthew Shepard. It has been my personal experience that merely disagreeing with some of the more vehement gay activists results in one quickly being grouped into an axis of hate. It doesn’t seem to matter what the specifics of the argument happen to be as, regardless of what you say, they’ll trolley out the same stale, cookie-cutter, accusation of homophobia. Perhaps if they changed the name of their insult to “gaytotalitarianaphobe” there might be some merit to their claims."

Award winning novelist and playwright Orson Card, writing for Meridian Magazine, warns that the h-word is the natural outgrowth of a fantastic lie:

A postulated but unproven genetic disposition toward homosexuality is supposed to be embraced and accepted by everyone as "perfectly natural" -- but the far stronger and almost universal genetic disposition toward having children and grandchildren is to be suppressed, kept to yourself, treated as a mental illness. You're unhappy that your son wants to marry a boy? Then you're sick, dangerous, a homophobe, filled with hate. Control your natural desires or be branded as evil by every movie and TV show coming out of P.C. Hollywood!

David Bernstein uses the h-word in a brazen comparison to the phrase "house nigga".

Some have complained that blacks use the n-word against other blacks. Black gay activists do the same with the h-word.

I say its time for a change.

Prominent Catholics mum on Pope's Muslim mess

Many thanks to our friend and brother Darnell aka Independent Conservative for bringing the pope's flagrant transgressions to light. The political beast has forced the Pope to bow in submission at the Allah's altar. I felt it was high spiritual treason. But prominent Catholics aren't saying anything critical of the Pope's cowtowing to the super demanding-violence prone Muslim community overseas. None of the Catholic talk show hosts have dared to talk about the Pope's visit and his subsequent "praying" with the Muslims. Not Bill Bennett, Laura Ingraham or even Sean Hannity. Perhaps they havent said anything because they are only social Catholics. To such people the compromising the divinity of Christ may not be an issue.

I'm not a Catholic but I would have a major problem with my leader cozying up to another religion which denies Jesus' diety. That's a spiritual chasm Christians are NEVER supposed to cross. At least not in the manner in which the Pope has gotten himself entwined. We hope some rank and file Catholics will take offense and speak out at the groveling of their leader before a group of people who would sooner chop his head off and send it back to Rome on a platter.

Lesbian culture comes out the closet at Spelman

Spelman College in Atlanta is no longer making it a secret about its pervasive lesbian culture on the campus. Spelman is a black women's college.

According to the Southern Voice, Spelman's Women’s Research and Resource Center "finally secured that support via a $140,000 grant from the Arcus Foundation, a Michigan-based philanthropic group that funds organizations that “illuminate the presence and contributions of people in the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community, and the issues which confront them.”

Don't be fooled. The "philanthrophic group" is a gay activist front organization led by lesbian Urvashi Vaid. With a lesbian's fingers on the purse strings, it was a shoo-in for Spelman to get the money, although they want you to believe they really sweated to make it happen. With the money, Spelman plans to prominently display the "poetic works" of deceased lesbian activist Audre Lorde at the college.

I already told you that some insitutions of higher education are rapidly deteriorating into cesspools of teaching vunerable yourng people that homosexuality is good and that anyone who opposes it is evil. And then those that go along with it are given glowing credentials. Beverly Guy-Sheftall, the centers' founding director boasted, “We teach Audre Lorde in our women’s studies courses on campus.”

Death by Education

America's schools have fallen under the wicked assault of demons of every sort. Having spent three days with 11,000 professors of religion and Bible at the annual meeting of the American Academy of Religion (AAR) and the Society of Biblical Literature (SBL) in Washington DC., I'm glad to be back in the peace of my Californian study. Every year, in the academy, orthodox biblical Christianity decreases in representation, while radical liberalism increases. The liberal SBL, founded in 1880, welcomed the fledgling AAR in 1963, but it is now being thrown out of AAR, apparently because privileging one religion in a meeting of "religion teachers" is too politically incorrect. So the cuckoo takes over the nest and the SBL must fend for itself.
While the joint arrangement persists (until 2008), I am able to observe religious history as it happens. Since 1991 I have witnessed the radical agenda stretch the liberal envelop to unimaginable extremes. I have deliberately attended the "cutting edge" seminars, since what the "cutting edge" conceives soon becomes acceptable to the liberal majority. Here is a sampling of this year's offerings:

In her plenary address, Diana Eck, president of AAR and professor at Harvard, introduced herself as a Montanan, a Methodist and a Massachusetts-recently-married gay-to enthusiastic applause. Her great contribution is the promotion of religious pluralism in America, but religious pluralism is often accompanied by sexual pluralism;

In The Contemporary Pagan Studies Consultation, academic witches and warlocks conferred on the spiritual power of "fire circle drumming," in which fire represents "hardly contained desire." The audience heard about "Paganistan," the thriving Wiccan community in Minnesota, and a lecture entitled "The Pagan Explosion," documented that paganism has grown 38 fold in the USA in the last eleven years and 250-fold in Australia in the last five years;

In The Theology and Religion Section: Jim Wallis' God's Politics, Wallis reduced the Christian message to a modern version of a social gospel for the Democratic party. An "evangelical feminist" railed against the genocidal foundation of America and called for the deconstruction of "normative heteropatriarchy." One small but bright light came from a Canadian scholar who accused Wallis of nationalistic idolatry for making America, rather than the church, the source of Gospel action;

In a review session of Christ and the Single Savior, Yale professor Dale B. Martin's homoerotic interpretation of the New Testament teaching on sexuality began with a professor from Harvard Divinity School introducing herself by saying: "I do not know where I am in relation to Christianity." Such confusion was hardly lifted when a Yale professor of theology asked Martin where Jesus had gay sex. Martin replied: "In the park, which is what the gospel writers meant by 'garden.'" This trivialization and eroticization of Jesus Gethsemane suffering elicited not a single objection from the numerous theology professors in attendance;

In The Queer Theory and LGBT Studies in Religion Consultation a paper "showed" the deep theological meaning of homosexual bathroom graffiti. With the verbal verve of a rap artist, gross sexual perversion was transformed into a noble response to "the dominant hegemonic power-structures of white, heterosexual, capitalistic society." Another gay theologian argued that there was no genetic "binary template" (male/female) so we are all sexually becoming whatever we wish to be;
These professors constitute an armada of brain-power deployed on our campuses to form the thinking of the rising generation. They are succeeding.
Radio host Dennis Prager interviewed a university senior who went to college a confirmed heterosexual but leaves, like many, convinced that there are numerous valid forms of sexuality. On the related issue of abortion, a poll shows that while only 37% of high school graduates are pro-choice, 73% of women leaving college are.

Ok, let's answer Joe Brummer's hypothetical question with some real life questions and perhaps we may get a good answer.

(1)If teens are taught that sticking a balled up fist in someone's anus is a good thing, what kind of adult would that teen become? (2)If a group of homosexual activists masquerading as advisors to teens, took teens to gay clubs for the purpose of teaching "hot men to put on condoms", what type of adult would this teen become? (3) If another "gay teen center" told teens that they should either cut off their penis or have a doctor mutilate their vaginas because they don't like the gender identity they were born with, what kind of adult would these teens become?

Reminds me of a young white homosexual man who confronted me after a speech I gave in Waco, Texas.
My parents told me that from the age of two they knew that I was gay, he said to me as proof that he was "born gay". I thought about it for a second and then asked him, "What if your parents had told you that you were a pig? What do you think you would be doing right now?"

Independent Conservative has been hitting the Muslim angle pretty hard lately and for good reason. The Muslim guilt factor has been running rampant since 9/11, Iraq, His Popeness's rebuke/retraction and other incidents. Currently, IC is talking about the new Muslim politician from Minnesota in his post "Keith Ellison/Hakim/X Ellison/Ellison-Muhammad Should Not Be in Congress. On Top of Not Having a Choice to Say His Oath on a Bible!" Even though he has yet to take his seat in Congress, Ellison seems to be representing the Saudis more than his AMERICAN constituents.

Peter LaBarbera at Americans For Truth is helping to spread the news of a New Study which says Childhood Family Factors Influence Sexual Orientation. Of course, our position is that there is but ONE sexual orientation. What is it? I'm glad you asked. God divinely and originally oriented man sexually and relationally towards woman and pronounced it good. We feel that there is no need to add or subtract from anything God said was good. Additionally, we feel that so-called "sexual orientations" is an socio-political invention of the liberal scientific left wingers. In biblical terms a result of the fallen/sinful nature of man.

Illegal aliens and their illegal activities is the topic of LaShawn Barber's Friday issues. This has been at the top of the news here in Atlanta. The culprit is an Alpharetta drywall company. LaShawn writes "Earlier this week, six illegal aliens — who entered the U.S. by slipping past authorities, circumventing safeguards put in place to protect American citizens — were arrested at Hartsfield International Airport in Atlanta, Georgia. The illegal aliens had access to secured areas."
Enough already, this is insanity! The Democrats better handle this problem before they get their tushies warm in their new seats. Since the President and the Republicans were too sissified to deal with it, let's see what the Dems will do.

Okay, if you do a couple of good deeds does that mean you can say whatever filthy words you want in a rap song? Rapper David Banner seems to think so. BlackElectorate profiles this case notably because the National Black Caucus (go figure) gave him an award at a student luncheon.

Mark at Chester Street picks apart an "open letter" to James Dobson. It seems the writer "Bluegal" is upset by Dobson's decision not to help with Ted Haggard's "restoration". Mark points out several fallacies in Bluegals's thinking. Definitely worth the read.

And finally on NewsBusters, Tim Graham talks about the Obama-AIDS-Rick Warren controversy. He reveals how the although the media is eating up the story now, they all but ignored Warren when his Purpose Driven Life was burning up the best seller lists. Predictably, when a religious conservative loosens his religious conservative standards and gets involved with liberal media figures (like Obama), the MSM falls in love almost immediately. Otherwise, you mean nothing to them. Beware.

No money needed to stop AIDS

World AIDS Day is coming up December 1st, and the liberals are deploying out their foot soldiers. Their pitching the same old message: more money, more condoms. They've added that AIDS is the deadly gift that keeps on giving because of "discrimination and stigma". I fail to see how that would cause someone to choose such a painful and eventual death.

The libs' message about AIDS is one that means nothing and produces nothing but I've got news for them. It doesn't take one more red cent to stop AIDS. And you can use all the condoms you want, AIDS will not stop. The bulk of the problem with people and AIDS is that people are unwilling to let go of their disobedient ignorance.

We can stop AIDS, but it requires something most of the sex industry is against. Personal discipline. Not the discipline to wear a condom every time. Sex is much more than an act. That's problem number 1 with the sex peddlers and their hapless victims. Sex seems to be nothing more than a dog (or dawg)in heat.

I proposed a 100% full proof plan to stop AIDS within a decade and now it appears someone else has the same idea. Rev Rick Warren (yep, the purpose-driven life guy), whose church is hosting a controversial AIDS conference came up with the acronym STOP:
S-Save sex for marriage
T-Train men to treat women and children with respect
O-Offer treatment through churches
P-Pledge yourself to one partner for life

We'll assume that he means one opposite sex marriage partner in the "P". Other than that, it seems like a good plan. And like I said it doesnt require any more government money and while we're at it, we could put the condom industry out of business. In contrast, UN Secretary General Kofi Annan casts a lists of requirements, but none call for personal sexual restraint or monagamy. Italics mine.

"It[stopping AIDS] requires business leaders to work for HIV prevention in the workplace and in the wider community, and to care for affected workers and their families. It requires health workers, community leaders and faith-based groups to listen and care, without passing judgment. It requires fathers, husbands, sons and brothers to support and affirm the rights of women. It requires teachers to nurture the dreams and aspirations of girls. It requires men to help ensure that other men assume their responsibility — and understand that real manhood means protecting others from risk. It requires every one of us to help bring AIDS out of the shadows, and spread the message that silence is death."

Should whites get race based scholarships?

Being an independent conservative, I found very little to agree with the Republicans on during the last election.

However, a clever group of College Republicans at Boston University have found a way to emphasize the ridiculous nature of race based scholarships. In a country so race conscious and race sensitive, why emphasize race in academia? I am only a marginal supporter of "affirmative action".

In response to a Hispanic schorlarship at BU with the same criteria, the president of the CRs said, "There are plenty of poor, white, academically gifted students who need that money just as much."

I agree. And if there's nothing wrong with offering it to Hispanics or Blacks with a race based criteria, then why is it "outrageous" to offer it to white students?

What do you think about what the CRs are doing?

LaShawn Barber weighed in on this yesterday with some excellent commentary. She writes in part:

"These days, affirmative action is a euphemism for dropped standards.
Black students with lower grades and test scores are admitted in place of non-black students with higher grades and test scores. Under affirmative action policies for hiring, black people with lesser qualifications and credentials and/or lower quality credentials are hired in place of non-blacks with better qualifications, more credentials, and higher quality credentials.
I wish a black person somewhere would be honest and tell the truth about why they support race preferences despite the illegality and immorality of such policies. Until someone can articulate why race-based, government-sanctioned considerations are morally wrong, they’ll continue to exist. Here’s a challenge for black readers who support preferential treatment based on race, should they wish to accept it:
If “whites only” scholarships, policies, and programs are obviously wrong, why are “blacks only” scholarships, policies, and programs not wrong? What’s difference between the races justifies lowering standards for one and discriminating against the other?"

Are we wrong about homosexuality?

In USA Today, Oliver Thomas, a Baptist minister posits that question with a hypothetical announcement: "Despite what you might have read, heard or been taught throughout your churchgoing life, homosexuality is, in fact, determined at birth and is not to be condemned by God's followers."

Thomas' premise is that one day the church (or religious leaders as he puts it) will find out that we were wrong about homosexuality and due to "science" lose its credibility. He compares the controversy over homosexuality to Galileo's persecution when he revealed the earth's place in the solar system. Now, he says "millions" are being persecuted. Therefore, he concludes, we are wrong about homosexuality. In addition, Thomas builds his ludicrous preposition on the favorite cliche of gay activists of the religious stripe.

"For those who have lingering doubts, dust off your Bibles and take a few hours to reacquaint yourself with the teachings of Jesus. You won't find a single reference to homosexuality. There are teachings on money, lust, revenge, divorce, fasting and a thousand other subjects, but there is nothing on homosexuality. Strange, don't you think, if being gay were such a moral threat?"

"Jesus said nothing about homosexuality." I put that one in the same trash can as the "Adam and Steve" cliche of the opposing side. But let's take a brief fantasy ride with Rev. Thomas.

Maybe we are wrong about homosexuality. We are wrong about a lot of things. Man's emerging knowledge is at best seen darkly though a glass as the Apostle Paul put it. That is the frailty of the human condition. Certainly, we do not possess nor equal the omniscience of God. But isn't that the precise reason we should rely on God to tell us what His standards are for sexual conduct and thought? And without a concise, written record from God we are left to determine on our own what God does and does not want. In a word: tragedy. There are two immutable qualities about God which must influence everything we do and say regarding moral issues, especially sexual.
1. God does not change. He is the same today, yesterday and forevermore (Heb 13:8).
2. God's word will not change. He has spoken it, confirmed it and settled it.

Three headed church monsters like this minister are very easy to spot. Their allegiance is never to God, Christ or the Word of God. It always focuses on the airbrushed opinions of humanity. Its very telling that these ministers (who they are helping remains to be seen) quickly divert your attention away from what the Bible says and instead superimpose humanist ideology. They are like Aaron in the Old Testament who in the absence of Moses gave the people what they wanted: A new god which would allow them to act out the lustful and depraved excesses of their hearts (See Exodus 32:1-22)

But God's commands challenge us to reach for the best in thought and deed. Why would we not want to please our Heavenly Father? Why wouldn't we want to conform our ways to align with his Word? I can think of only one reason. Like the rebellious people in the wilderness, some people want a new god. This god doesn't care about who you have sex with, he or it only cares that you loosely categorize it as "love". The truth is that sexual immorality ---whether homosexual or heterosexual--- is far beneath the perfect plan of God. Jesus even said to engage in thinking of sexual activity with someone else (other than your husband or wife) is unacceptable. As the old saints used to say "its tight but its right!"

Thomas' Galileo's statement is clever, but nothing more. The shape or position of the earth is not an equitable comparison to sexual behavior. The question should not be are we wrong about homosexuality, but is God wrong about homosexuality? The answer to that is a resounding, eternal no. Never.

Cash strapped? Call in the gays!

Send me ~~your tired, your poor~~ your money laden gays? What's this? A new immigration policy?

No, but cities across the country have the discovered that great American cash cow named the gay community. And they are falling over themselves to get paid. Atlanta was one of the first to develop a gay tourism aka get the gay money scheme. Now Dallas has jumped onboard the bandwagon. The equation is simple: Gays have plenty of excess capital. Huge sums of disposable income just waiting to be had. So if you are a city overrun with illegal aliens, unresolved crime issues and perhaps declining popularity among normal tourists, you just call in the gays to save you.

The site proclaims "Our Secret is Out" and features images of same-sex couples enjoying the local sights.

Phillip Jones, president and CEO of the Dallas tourism bureau said gay travelers spend an average of $100 more per day than other travelers and plan four to six trips a year.

WOW! I wish that I could plan or take 4-6 trips a year! And these are the hapless victims of discrimination? Jones also marveled at the "diversity" aka gayversity of Dallas which he claims he stumbled upon while doing marketing research.

"One of the things that most surprised me about Dallas was the incredible diversity. We have 120,000 GLBT (Gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender) households in the Dallas area." We'd be foolish not to position Dallas as a destination for this market, which spends a lot of money on travel."

Gee, Jonesy, with all those thousands of rich, diversified gays living in Dallas, one wonders why you would need to attract more gays to Dallas. Oh wait...I forgot. Its that cash cow thing.

Fashionista Failures

Some others have been talking about gay's negative influence on the fashion industry.

I made the assertion that homosexuals dominate the fashion culture. I was right and to me that translates to major influence of the models who suffer with anorexia. I for one am not a name-brand addict so I could care less about the latest fashionista news and trends that these people dish out. But I found this disturbing listing of the major gay players in the fashion world. That's right all the big names, along with their history.

And then there's Austin Silver's humorous-but-true commentary which asks (and answers) the question Is there anyone straight in the fashion industry? A sample of the madness:

"If anyone ever saw a flamboyantly gay man walking down the street sporting a pink feather boa and sparkles over his eyes, they'd probably cringe and cross the street. After hearing about a Brazilian model who died of anorexia, I wondered if this wasn't a product of the industry's main players who are gay men. Is being deathly thin their idea of femininity? Its no big secret that homosexuals, part time drag queens and progays are running the fashion industry. London Fashion Week came under fire causing the British Fashion Council to cancel its opening photocall. Newspapers blamed them for exacerbating an already dire situation. [source]

London's fashion week follows New York and comes before prestigious Milan and Paris. I find this misogynistic in a way. Are these women anything more than dress up dolls for these gay men? I still can't believe that ANTM has "Ms J" --a man-- teaching women how to walk like a woman. Unbelievable. Should gay men set the standards for what feminine beauty should look like, especially if it is only prop work to them?

Said "Ms J":"When I look at a girl, I'm looking at her for body, for movement. She can be as ugly as the bottom of my shoe, but if she can walk, and have confidence, and look good, that's all that matters for this. You can turn that ugly into beauty."

I wonder if that is somewhat autobiographical.

From what I understand this is the norm in the fashion and even pageantry industries. By the way, a friend of mine encountered "Ms J" in the Atlanta airport while waiting to check in. I won't tell you what happened, but "Ms J" needs serious help.

The drag queens and male diva coaches should share the blame for this terrible curse on these young women. To me, its just another sad reason why we should never under any circumstances approve or affirm homosexual behavior. Ana Carolina Reston is dead at 21. Just who was she trying to please?

The bigotry defense

There has been no nationwide outcry over the murder of 51 year old Mary Stachowicz. You see she wasn't gay. Nor was she supportive of gay relationships. As a matter of fact, that is exactly what got her murdered. Her life was savagely taken from her by a homosexual man because she told him that he could change his homosexuality. Should Mary have been killed because she was a designated "bigot"? What does that mean for the rest of us whom gay activists brand as "bigots"?

Last week, Cook County Assistant State's Attorney Jim McKay described (homosexual) Chicago man Nicholas Gutierrez's "ferocious" 2002 murder of a pious, 51-year-old Catholic mother of four, Mary Stachowicz, saying he also raped Mary in addition to stabbing, strangling and beating her, then stuffed her bloody body in a crawl space under the floor of his apartment."There is a monster in the courtroom today," McKay said, describing how Gutierrez stabbed Stachowicz so many times that he bent the tip of his hunting knife.

Gutierrez then allegedly wrapped her body in sheets and covered her head in a plastic bag before hiding her, as Mary's family and friends searched frantically for her for three days. After McKay laid out the state's case, including finding Gutierrez's DNA in Stachowicz's vagina and anus, Gutierrez's public defender, Crystal Marchigiani, claimed that it was Stachowicz who attacked Gutierrez: "It happened because she could not leave him alone in his [homosexual] lifestyle. "Marchigiani said that on the day of her death, November 13, 2002, Stachowicz confronted Gutierrez at the Sikorsky Funeral Home where Mary worked and where Gutierrez once was employed. (He lived in an apartment above the funeral home with his male friend, Ray.) She said Mary angrily pressed Gutierrez with the question, "Why do you sleep with boys?" and then followed Gutierrez upstairs to his room before physically attacking him. All the while, the stocky Gutierrez, who appeared to be about six feet tall, sat in the courtroom. One of Mary Stachowicz's sisters left the room in disgust after hearing Marchigiani launch her shocking defense. Americans For Truth President Peter LaBarbera responded: "The Gutierrez defense team's Politically Correct courtroom ploy ought to be called the 'Anti-Homophobe Panic Defense.' Marchigiani's is an ugly attempt to exploit the liberal caricature of Christians who oppose homosexuality as crazed haters with a penchant for aggression.

"So here we see a new defense tactic: stoking the flames of anti-Christian bigotry to save a 'gay' murderer from the punishment he deserves," LaBarbera said.

Did Love Win Out in Atlanta?

I'm not sure since I didn't attend, but here's the lowdown of what happened when love came to Atlanta.

Atlanta's WXIA (NBC 11) took the media lead on covering the Love Won Out conference and the conference's protest groupies. Video reports here. A friend of mine who went out to take pictures of the protesters told me there were a scant few of them out. There were barely 35 people, he said and that only at a certain time. And only ONE of those protestors was black. I guess the "substantial" black gay community in Atlanta wasn't as outraged as the protestors claimed. Atlanta's black gay community may be good for turning out in mass numbers for a party, but they shun protesting like a plague.

I noted Daniel Gonzales' speech at the protest press conference. I'm not sure why his voice was quivering and shaking when he was talking, but it was. Maybe he was really scared about lying on public TV or maybe it was an act to dramatize his brief speech. You can watch it ">here [video]. Gonzales is the token "former exgay" at exgaywatch who has joined the cast of Besen's LWO groupie show. Gonzales major complaint was that he had indeed prayer the infamous MMS Prayer. On the video Gonzales says it took "countless evenings" to find out he could not be "straight", but in print says it took "thousands of hours". Since he didn't say just how many thousands of hours it was, we are left to guess. If it was "thousands of hours", let's just assume that it was 2,400 hours. That means he only tried his prayer about three months. I don't know about him, but I have prayed for things for years before the answer came from God. That's what the Bible called being faithful in prayer. I'm not sure why Gonzales offered the different versions of how long he actually claimed he prayed.

Version 1: “I spent thousands of hours on my knees, praying for the Lord to make me straight,” said Daniel Gonzales. “And he never did.”
Version 2: "I spent countless evening on my knees begging the Lord to make me straight. And he never did."

On the other side of the LWO coin, Exodus used the face of my friend James on the billboard in downtown Atlanta area, but held the conference in Woodstock at First Baptist Church. Although I'm proud of my brotha for reppin overcomers of color, I hope Exodus is not pimpin' his face.

They also used the same billboard in St. Louis and this is what happened. I got a call from someone who saw the billboard. The man was very direct in asking me why LWO had NO BLACK SPEAKERS especially since they were in a predominately African American city? That remains to be seen. We have had that conversation before with them (in the John Paulk days) but things haven't changed. That's probably why you won't see me at a LWO anytime soon. I did attend the LWO in Atlanta several years ago, but there were only a handful of blacks there. Maybe not that many. Change is a process we always say, so we will wait for the process to kick in.

Haggard, church on the ropes...again

Perhaps youve heard these names before. Perhaps you know the stories behind the names. Charles Parham. Jimmy Swaggart. Jim Bakker. Joe Ratcliff. Earl Paulk. JD Husbands. Roberts Liardon. Terry Hornbuckle. There are many more of lesser stature, but the ugly fact is here we are...again.

I couldn't believe my ears. Or my eyes. But then again, there was a feeling that it was true.
Rev. Ted Haggard, president of the powerful National Association of Evangelicals and pastor of the 14,000 New Life Church in Colorado Springs was accused this week by a self professed male escort of having a three year sexual relationship with the escort. Apparently the "evangelical church" hasn't heeded this, written just six months ago.

"Stories abound of pastors snared by sexual transgression. The problems transcend theology and ecclesiology. A pervasive culture of sensuality and disregard for communal accountability guarantees that some pastors will struggle with all sorts of sexual temptation. Toss into this mix the internet's availability and anonymity, which have spread the reach of pornography and clandestine sexual encounters."

I'm sure shock waves will reverberate around the evangelical community, not because Haggard was caught in this messy mess of a mess, but because he was such an outspoken opponent of homosexual rights. When I spoke at the 24 Hour Marriage Crisis Summit in Washington DC in 2005, (and later Apostle Kim Daniels) warned hundreds of mostly black pastors assembled that God was going to let the devil pull the covers off those who were sneaking around with homosexuals behind the scenes.

While initally denying that he had any involvement with the escort, Haggard has now "admitted to some of the indiscretions", but not all of them. In this case, any of them present serious implications for all of them.

Its quite understandable and to be expected that if Ted Haggard carried on this adulterous relationship for three years while publicly preaching against it, sooner or later it would catch up to him. The later has come and with it another avalanche of disbelief. Homosexuals have a right to use this as a whipping post of the hypocritical preachers who are engaged in these types of travesties. Add Haggard's name to the list above and then church needs to stop this insane cultic pastor-worship and hold men and women accountable. In the end, its the sheep who suffer the most.

John Kerry trashes US soldiers in combat

Failed presidential pretender John Kerry, apparently upset over the lack of attention afforded him has become the latest Democratic albatross issue to dash Democratic dreams of staging a political power coup. First, it was NJ Supreme Court's perverted edict on gay marriage which is sure to motivate conservatives and gay marriage opponents across the country to get to the polls. Said Kerry in California:

“You know, education, if you make the most of it, if you study hard and you do your homework, and you make an effort to be smart, uh, you, you can do well. If you don’t, you get stuck in Iraq.”

Of course Kerry is as wrong as gay marriage. Via Michelle Malkin, here are the facts:

-- 49.2 percent of officers have advanced or professional degrees; 39.4 percent have master's degrees, 8.5 percent have professional degrees and 1.3 percent have doctorate degrees.
-- 22.8 percent of company grade officers have advanced degrees; 16.5 percent have master's degrees, 5.9 percent have professional degrees and 0.3 percent have doctorate degrees.
-- 85.4 percent of field grade officers have advanced degrees; 70.7 percent have master's degrees, 12.1 percent have professional degrees and 2.5 percent have doctorate degrees.
-- 99.9 percent of the enlisted force have at least a high school education; 73.3 percent have some semester hours toward a college degree; 16.2 percent have an associate's degree or equivalent semester hours; 4.7 percent have a bachelor's degree; 0.7 percent have a master's degree and .01 percent have a professional or doctorate degree."

Veterans around the country are understanbly reacting with disgust at Kerry's long history of backstabbing US military members. As a US combat veteran, I sincerely hope this lead to Kerry's resignation. Kerry isn't worthy to bathe in the spit of US Military men and women. Kerry has now, according to news reports, cancelled all of his campaign events and appearances with Democratic candidates. Democrats begin dropping him like a hot potato. Democratic Sen candidate Harold Ford, Jr. has just issued a press release saying that no matter what Kerry's intent was he should retract and apologize to the US military. I hope Republicans of all stripes jump on this with all four feet and use it to club the Democrats back in their holes. Kerry's remarks are representative of what many of the Democrats feel but won't say. They despise the soldiers in Iraq and harbor a arrogant attitude typical of Democratic antiwar activists.

Press Secretary Tony Snow will hold a press conference at 12n eastern. They should bring out the 82nd for this one.

I knew when I read this story in the Denver Post that something was terribly wrong with Rev. Benjamin Reynolds. He was attempting to force Emmanuel Baptist Church into becoming "affirming and inclusive". Its now clear that his reason for taking the church down such a destructive path was to cover for his own selfish sexual agenda. The church has rejected him and his evil.

God has already spoken and confirmed his word, but apparently the apostate United Church of Christ will never hear his true words. The UCC has become known --not for its adherence to the doctrines of Christ-- but for homosexual advocacy disguised as a Christian act of love and inclusion. To prove its love for sinful activities of those who detest Biblically mandated sexual standards, the UCC recently inducted the Cathedral of Hope Church in Dallas, a full fledged homosexual congregation. When my wife and I visited COH in 1998, we were shocked to see embedded in the stain glass windows, the double male and double female symbols. According to the Advocate, the UCC admitted the "gay mega church", hoping to be "enriched by its vitality."

Other than being a sign of the times, this really is a digressive event. The UCC is already a decaying shell of its former beliefs and its admission of a homosexual church simply sinks the ship to even lower depths of religious idiocy. Interestingly enough, the Advocate pegged the UCC as a "mainstream" denomination. Hardly. The UCC has been bleeding heavily since its fanatical push to legitimize homosexual conduct. The COH was hailed as fourth largest church in the UCC. The others are a pair of black churches in Chicago and metro Atlanta, who joined the UCC after abandoning traditional Christan belief over homosexuality. The Chicago church, Trinity, is home to the Democrat's golden boy Barack Obama.

If you are not familiar with Dallas' Cathedral of Hope, it is anything but. Its founder and pastor Michael Piazza was criticized for taking trips to sex clubs in California without his so-called husband and then threw the church into chaos over money and power mongering.

Leave us alone says "happy" homosexual

Last week, I got a complaint email from a homosexual who wanted to know why I couldn't just leave him (or her) and other "happy" homosexuals alone.

"Why cant you accept that most of us have no desire to be converted, we are happy, we are tired of your anti gay rhetoric..we basically just want you to leave us the f*** alone. Why not start now - and shut the hell up."

That's a fair question. And since the complaintant wanted me to post his or her question on my site, I will oblige with an answer.

I want to point out to you sir or mam that I am surprised that you think I am attempting to "convert" "happy" gays like yourself. You provided me with no evidence whatsoever to back up your accusation so I can only say that you are wrong. Consequently, there is nothing for me to accept. But just so that you and other "happy" gays can sleep well at night, please know that I am not trying to convert "happy" gays.

It is however, very interesting that you yourself point out that not all gays (such as yourself) are "happy". With that being said, I hope that you are not suggesting that those gays who are not happy being homosexual and want to change would be denied the opportunity to seek those changes and seek out people like myself who can help them to make those changes. Wouldn't you agree they deserve to be as "happy" as you claim you are?

If you had taken a little time to read my homepage, I clearly state that our mission to is assist those men and women who struggle with unwanted homosexual issues. That's called ministry. If you are as happy and contented with your homosexuality as you say you are, then you don't qualify for ministry.

Finally, as to being "antigay", its my right as an American citizen to oppose any actions or ideology I beleive not to be good for our society. Politics and social policy is different than ministry. I would characterize myself as anti-homosexuality, not anti-homosexual. Apparently, you are unable to distinguish that difference, just like you thought that I am trying to "convert" you and your "happy" homosexual friends. Disobedience at the root AIDS ignorance

So Im watching the Oprah Show today and she's talking about HIV/AIDS. You know that Oprah bills her show as the "leading source of information about life, love, self, relationships, etc" After talking with Magic and Cookie Johnson about their experience with the disease, in true Oprah fashion she assembled a group of six HIV positive women. Two were white, four black. Marvelyn, one of the black women who contracted AIDS at age 19 said she didn't know what HIV meant. She said she was told "just don't get pregnant." Later, we find out that she is still engaged in random sexual activity, but now she insists on condom use everytime. Un. be. lieveable.

As I listened to these women, the more bizarre their stories got. One white woman claimed that she was well educated and in school all she was told was to be abstinent. She said it as if being abstinent is a bad thing. I couldn't help but think that if she had been obedient, she wouldn't have AIDS.

The women's stories revealed a common factor: each of them contracted the disease through fornication. In these women's worldview, the "sin" if you will was simply having "unprotected sex".

"I used condoms with people I was with, but I didn't use them consistently…and I probably didn't use them correctly," said Yvette.

That's the world's idea of morality. Its a faulty --and fatal-- premise. Yet, God has already made clear the consequences of sexual sin. The women brought up the cliched "AIDS doesn't discriminate" as advice to others. True perhaps, but the real problem isn't HIV/AIDS, its people's ignorance and disobedience to common sense and Godly guidance for sexual conduct. AIDS is like a gun, if you never pick it up and pull the trigger while pointing it at someone, the gun is literally harmless. We all know that it takes human hands to make it deadly.

I do understand the women's foolish mentality. It was one I had myself when I was homosexual/sexually active. I had no thought of using a condom and neither did the great majority of male sexual partners I had during the 11 years I was homosexual. As a matter of fact, I can count on one hand the number of times during those years I used or was asked to use a condom. I don't think I was any different than any other person out there then, and from the looks of the statistics, not much has changed. Sexual disobedience is still deadly.

I proposed a fullproof way to rid ourselves of AIDS in 10 years or less, but the hardheaded disobedience and will full ignorance of God's protective plan will continue to drag people into the pits. I'll say it again for the sake of those who want to heed, live and please God.

(1) Give your life to Christ and make him LORD over your sex and sexuality.
(2) Live a life of sexual abstinence if you are single.
(3) Remain sexually faithful to your husband/wife if married.
(4) Stop supporting the idea that sex is nothing more than an uncontrollable urge.

Harry Jackson on "wedge issues"

Townhall columnist Bishop Harry Jackson comments on the so-called wedge issues Dems and liberals love to throw out during election time. You know meaningless stuff like gay marriage, abortion, and border security. Things that don't really matter when placed against such weighty, moral issues as homelessness, antiwar activity and insurance coverage for every American: living, dead or otherwise. And of course liberals NEVER have wedge issues, its only white, male Christian Republicans who run on wedge issues. Liberals just ooze care and concern for the welfare of every living person, right?

When you hear the phrase wedge issue, just know its a code to group-think black folk that the liberal whites are in the lead on it. Its strange that the same issues they marginalize are the ones they simultaneously devote a great deal of time fighting and counteracting. Says Jackson:

"With only two weeks left before the election, we must remind our black friends about their responsibility to vote their core values. Marriage and abortion are not “wedge issues.” If black families disintegrate any further, we may slip into a negative population-growth mode. More dangerous than that, our community may implode if we do not stabilize our marriages, our children, and our extended families. The wedge issues, if examined closely, become racial bridge issues."

Dangerous rainbows ahead

Homosexual activists, Dems prep to lead the nation down a dangerous path.
Although Islamofacist terrorists would cut their throats and slice off their heads without the slightest hesistation, homosexual activists have only one concern when it comes to pursuit of power. Its a frightening exclusionist agenda which would imperil our advances on national security and take us back to pre-911 immaturity. According to the Washington Blade, homosexual activists, along with the key allies in the Democratic Party plan to enact a vengeance of sorts on their sworn enemies the Republican Party.

Led by the toofy talking head activist himself Barney Frank (D-MA),gay political activists and Democratic leaders are already planning post-election strategies and priorities. Those include repeal of the military's don't ask, don't tell rule, passage of the Employement Nondiscrimination Act (ENDA), a federal "hate crimes" bill and anything associated with homosexual rights.

In other words, the nation would be in for a long, gay ride under the hand of the Democrats. Issues like national security, border issues and terrorism, would be virtually ignored. Gays seem to be of the mindset of a starving man. When the plate of food is put in front of him, desparation forces him to eat until he dies. Matt Foreman of the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force said, “The reality is that there are many, many, many key constituencies of the Democratic Party that have also been in the wilderness for the last 10 years,” Foreman said, “and they, too, are going to be lining up and asking for movement on their issues.”
Translation: Pedophiles and polygamists want their peice of the pie, too.

Frank said a Democratic House would snub “anti-gay initiatives” like the Marriage Protection Amendment, and give lawmakers new ability to concentrate on passing ENDA and overturning “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.”

While the Democrats pay syrupy lip service to blacks, its clear they intend to push gay issues front and center. Homosexual activism is much more valuable tool to the Democrat's lust for revenge and power. Blacks have defected on moral issues, siding with conservatives in banning gay marriage, the love child of gays and Democrats. And blacks are not seen as huge financial contributors to the Democratic political machine. That relegates their issues low on the political totem pole.

More hate crimes lies

On Tuesday, we reported that gays in America were greatly exaggerating hate crimes incidences to manipulate the sensitivities of the American public. However, FBI statistics released for 2005 show bias incidences against homosexuals at the bottom of the statistic heap.

Now, it appears the lying is not just contained to this side of the big pond. Rueters is reporting that a homosexual police organization (that's bizarre) was "reprimanded" by the Advertising Standards Authority for the advertisement which featured a Bible and a pool of blood. The bizarre ad from the bizarre group drew immediate fire from Christians in the UK. Its message, prepared for a UK "gay pride festival" implied Christians were responsible for a huge rise in violent attacks on homosexuals.

What will the growing --and angry-- riff between black and white gays mean for a movement long portrayed as the epitome of tolerance and diversity?

This morning black gay writer, Keith Boykin highlighted a disturbing story about gay rights "hero" Tyrone Garner, a black man. Garner has been dead for over a month but because his family cannot raise the money to bury him, Garner's body may be turned over to the state of Texas for a pauper's burial. Boykin notes that the same white gay groups who used Garner as a tool to destroy most of the existing laws against sodomy in America have failed to stand up for him in death.

"Lambda Legal Defense Fund had previously announced a fund to be set up for Garner's family to cover the cost of the funeral and burial, but apparently the funds have still not been raised. I don't know the circumstances behind the fund, but Lambda is the second largest LGBT organization in the country and boasts an annual budget of $10.5 million."

White gays don't care about black people.
Jasmyne Cannick, a black lesbian activist in Los Angeles lambasted the silence of white gay activists in the face of the murder of a black homosexual man by whites in New York.

"So it’s been five days since Michael Sandy died after his family removed his life support system. And in five days, I have heard absolutely nothing from the top two national predominately white gay rights groups, that being the Human Rights Campaign and The National Gay & Lesbian Task Force, on the death of Michael Sandy, a Black gay man.
So here you have HRC and the Taskforce, two groups who are always trying to get the National Black Justice Coalition, the Black gays, to follow behind them and join their various coalitions, all in the name of showing diversity and unity, but when NBJC leads on an issue that is important to Black gays, they are nowhere to be found.
HRC has issued the five press releases since Friday, October 13, 2006. The Task Force has issued one statement. None of their statements had anything to do with Sandy.
When Matthew Shepard was killed, HRC and the Task Force were falling all over themselves trying to be the first out there with press releases and statements."

Cannick bluntly told readers to "Tell them [white gay organizations] that sending their House Negroes to Black Prides doesn’t cut it either." Incidentally, its not the first time Cannick has fired off at racism among white gays.

Last March in Atlanta a white lesbian director came under charges of racism by a black gay magazine publisher because she refused magazine sponsorship of the largely white attended "Pride" festival. The controversy became so pronounced, the local gay newspaper was forced to report on it.

Black gay leaders like Earl Fowlkes openly complained about the facade of the one big happy rainbow family. "Truth be told, it's not that way." White organizations like the donor rich Human Rights Campaign decided they knew what black folks liked. Just throw them a gospel concert bone. In 2002, HRC launched its "Gospel and Soul" Concert a churchified attempt to get black folks lined up with the gay agenda. It didn't work.

The all white "exgaywatch" (perhaps feeling guilty) did get involved in a catfight with another white group NARTH over racism charges. But these situations highlight a divide and even more stark streak of racism white gays are ignoring. With gays demanding tolerance, respect and equality its inconcievable that they would routinely practice the same ole jim crowism white racists did in the sixties.
Clearly, homophobia is not the problem, its same sex racism.

Gays exaggerating "hate crimes"?

(Harrisburg) - Today the FBI released its 2005 Hate Crimes Statistics again proving that homosexual activists are using their political power to exaggerate the extent of hate crimes committed against homosexuals, the American Family Association of Pennsylvania (AFA of PA) said. Once again racial bias topped the list of hate crimes committed against individuals -- 54.7% up from 52.9 % in 2004 and 51.4% in 2003.

"Homosexuals have been pulling the victim card for the past several years and the statistics do not prove their assertions. The AFA of PA believes that all Americans should be given equal protection under the law and that all crimes should be punished equally - special classes of people provide unequal protection. As the hate crime laws stand now, a crime against a homosexual male is viewed as being a worse crime than a crime against an 87-year-old grandmother or a 7-year-old girl," noted Diane Gramley, president of the AFA of PA, a statewide traditional values group.

As outlined in the FBI 2005 Hate Crimes Statistics the hate crimes against homosexuals have gradually declined between 2003 to 2005 - from 16.6 % in 2003 to 14.2% in 2005. Putting this into perspective one must note that involves a total of 7,163 criminal incidents based on bias in 2005 and 7,489 bias-motivated incidents in 2003. The FBI defines these crimes as toward a particular race, religion, sexual orientation, ethnicity/national origin, or physical or mental disability.

Again, as in the past, intimidation makes up the larger portion of hate crimes - accounting for 48.9%. This is a continuing decrease from 49.7% in 2003.

In Pennsylvania the FBI reports 118 hate crimes. Those included 60 based on race, 36 on religious bias, 13 on sexual orientation, 8 on ethnicity and 1 on disability. This is out of a population of 11,564,862.

"These statistics are not exposing the greater danger to homosexuals - same-sex domestic violence. According to the National Coalition of Anti-Violence Programs, in 2002 there were 4,434 reported incidences of same-sex domestic violence and in 2003 there were 5,374 reported incidences. So . . . are homosexuals in greater danger from so-called homophobia or from their own partners?" questioned Gramley.

Black liberal angry at blackface politics

I like George Curry. Even though the editor-in-chief of the NNPA News Service and BlackPressUSA is a dyed in the wool black liberal, every now and then he takes a hard swing at some of the pet blackface liberal issues. His stances surprise me in a good way.

Take for instance his recent swing at the two-faced politics of black Maryland Democrats. Curry took them to task for their treacherous, back stabbing rejection of Democratic front runner Mfume Kwesi in favor of white politician Benjamin Cardin. Even the anointed, golden boy himself Barack Obama "parachuted" in for the festivities. Curry states:

"After Benjamin L. Cardin, a White Congressman, defeated Kweisi Mfume, the former president of the NAACP and ex-chairman of the Congressional Black Caucus, African-American politicians in Maryland almost stumbled over one another in a mad rush to endorse Cardin. Sen. Barack Obama, everyone's flavor of the month, even parachuted in to endorse Cardin. He appeared on the scene so quickly that it was more like they loaded him in a cannon and aimed him toward the Baltimore Harbor.
The sight of grinning Black elected officials rushing to endorse a White Democrat is a familiar scene. What made this bum-rush so noteworthy was that after Mfume filed to fill an open Senate seat, the party went out and recruited Cardin to run against him. With limited resources and lacking the support of party bosses, Mfume still came within 9 percentage points of defeating Cardin. If he had won, Maryland's Senate race would have featured two African-Americans, guaranteeing that one would be elected to office."

Black folks are always clamoring about not being represented, but the truth is blacks under Democratic rule don't trust their own people. That's the mob-think mentality so pervasive among black Dems. If you break away and --God forbid-- learn to think and vote according to your own values, you are a threat to the Democratic totalitarian system currently in place.

Curry, however, has an excellent idea about how to teach these crab barrel practicioners a lesson. One I endorse wholeheartedly:

"It's time for a change and clearly that change is not going to come from Black elected officials who are forever wedded to their Democratic overseers. The change, if it's to occur, must come from those not seeking the favor of either party.
If we are truly tired of being taken for granted by one major party and just plain taken by the other, then it's time to take a stand. Here's my modest proposal for my fellow Black Marylanders - teach both parties a lesson by voting for the Black Republican, Lt. Gov. Michael Steele."

Hopefully, blacks in Maryland will get angry enough to see they have been cheated out of representative, use Curry's advice and teach somebody a good lesson.

Atlanta's Coleman interviewed in NY's 'Elementz'

The influential holy hip hop magazine Elementz of Life features an interview with Christian hip hop artist, Samantha Coleman of Atlanta. A former lesbian rapper, Coleman is making serious waves in the music industry with her brash, but sanctified vocals, especially about her past lesbianism.

Published in New York, EOL is a new outreach of the 190 year old American Bible Society is the slickly produced, and "geared to youth and young adults of the hip hop culture." The magazine features "compelling real life stories and expressions designed to empower young people and help them resolve some of life's most challenging questions." Besides the awesome stories in the magazine, EOL offers stunning visual artwork by hip hop artists and design editor Arthur Medina.

Homosexuality is certainly a challenge to young people today whether they themselves struggle with it or not. Trying to decide how to approach the issue despite all the hype and misinformation floating around requires that people like Samantha Coleman, myself and Charlene Cothran and others be vocal about change and transformation. The probing questions from EOL's Rodney Terich Leonard seem to bring out the best in Coleman.

RTL: "How did you describe your identity back then? And do you feel you had to suppress your identity due to your social and geographical surroundings?"

SC: "Even though Ihad these feelings about women, I had two sides going on in my head. My physical body didn't match the way I felt. I felt like I was a male trapped in a female body and that conflicted the way I saw myself. So my identity was in conflict. I never felt like being in Baton Rouge had anything to do with how I felt about my lifestyle. I didn't then and I don't care now about what people think about me. I had the perfect homosexual relationship [in the eyes of the world] but it wasn't right in the sight of God."

Easter issues challenge to gay Christians

Foley, Gays and Roots

Its time for the gay movement to own up to its pedophilic roots. Mark Foley has shined the light back on this incredibly ugly component of gay America.

Since demands have been made on the Republican Party own up to its racist roots. Why shouldn't the gay movement use this opportunity and openly acknowledge these roots and then once and for all condemnn it? Children are under attack from all quadrants of society from abortion to school violence. Now is the time to clean up this oozing sore. Of course, individual gays will always vehemently deny their personal involvement in homosexual pedophilia, but its movement leaders and policy mules have been silent about this ugly truth.

This is a dark cloud which perhaps may never go away unless they collectively make amends for the good of all American children who are at risk. The standard bearers for the gay movement continue to treat the issue like an invisible stepchild, but the truth is, its there, eating crumbs from the gay rights table. How long will it be before we see legislation advocating "man/boy love"?
Mark Foley's darkening revelations are proof of that.

This special report from American Spectator clearly shows that Harry Hay the recognized founder and pioneer of the homosexual rights movement in America was very interested sexually in children.

Called "The Most Beloved Duchess", Hay said "Because if the parents and friends of gays are truly friends of gays, they would know from their gay kids that the relationship with an older man is precisely what thirteen-, fourteen-, and fifteen-year-old kids need more than anything else in the world."

It was the direct influence of Hay's philosophy that gave birth to the homosexual pedophile group NAMBLA. NAMBLA still yearns for public recogition in the gay movement they claim they helped to birth.

Prominent black lesbian activist yields to Christ

The news is spreading quickly in the black gay community. Some have responded with shock, some with anger, still others with a guarded fear.

The reason: A prominent lesbian activist and gay community leader has given her life --and style-- to Christ and is refusing to be quiet about it.

Charlene Cothran, publisher and founder of VENUS magazine recently released her story via her magazine to the dismay of some homosexual activists. Titled "Redeemed!", Cothran tells how as a "proud card carrying lesbian" she was confronted by a female pastor with the truth about God's plan for her life. Like many (myself included) who initially resist truth about themselves, Cothran says she also hardened her heart and dug in, hoping to discourage the pastor from continued communication with her. She boldly told the pastor she was a lesbian.

"She reminded me that God's mercy allowed me to survive my experience as He developed my gifts, all as a part of His plan to lead others to Him.", wrote Cothran.

Cothran's conversion is significant because she was a cornerstone activist and pioneer publisher. VENUS, named after a Cothran's friend who was murdered by the woman's lesbian partner in 1993, was one the first national black gay magazines. VENUS promoted same sex marriage and helped to push the black coined term "same gender loving".
In August, Cothran was honored by New York Black Pride with the Langston Hughes award. She was one of 11 black "gay, lesbian and straight" individuals selected for "outstanding achievement". Also honored at the ceremony was actress Sheryl Lee Ralph and Rev. Al Sharpton.

Despite her secular notoriety, Cothran told me via email that she was looking forward and praying that God would open doors for her to deal with two particular aspects of homosexuality. Not only has she been transformed, but VENUS was transformed, too. Although the magazine retains its original name, its now aimed at helping men and women "in the life" get out if they want to.

Tired, worn out and illogical

That pretty much describes the notion held by some gay activists that former homosexuals, unless they become completely invisible are evidently still wanting to be gay. I've heard it so many times, it has become like grandma's old snuff can on the back porch. The latest to pull it out --defensively I might add--- is Jasmyne Cannick, an LA based lesbian activist. Since she admitted confusion over the issue, I feel responsible to help clear her mind. We'll see where it goes from there.

"As I’ve said all along, my experience has shown that the people who are the most homophobic also tend to be dealing with their own issues about their sexuality. People who are comfortable with their sexuality usually don't care as much about other people's sexuality. Which leads me to an obvious question. Are these ex-gays … still gay?" [Source]

First, let's list the assumptions of Cannick's statement.
1. Assumes that homophobia is an automatic condition of opposition to homosexual activism.
2. Assumes that homophobia parallels sexual identity confusion.
3. Assumes that being "comfortable" with one's sexuality is the result of being silent about it.
4. Assumes that exgays or former homosexuals are guilty of such assumptions.
5. Additionally, Cannick assumes that posting on or viewing her blog and presumablably any blog written by a gay person constitutes a desire to be gay again.

Now, let's assume Cannick is correct in these assumptions. And if she's is correct, the law of reciprocity would make such statements applicable to her or other gays. Right?

Then consider this:
1. Cannick did a weeklong series highlighting the "sexuality" of various black preachers. If she were comfortable with her own sexuality, why would she be that concerned with theirs?
2. Plenty of gays visit and post on my blog, one written by a former homosexual. Using her logic, these gays secretly want to get rid of their homosexuality simply by visiting and posting on my blog.
3. I always thought dissent was dissent and debate was debate. Yet, in Cannick's narrow worldview, all dissension, apart from her definitional branding is "homophobia". That could possibly indicate you fear your opponent's views, rather than feel secure in your own.
4. If "exgays" should not express themselves openly or talk about their faith or try to help others who do not want to be gay, why is Cannick taking that privelege for herself? Isn't that called hypocrisy?
5.Cannick's apparent fear and hurt over the Christian conversion of VENUS magazine publisher Charlene Cothran should remain personal. Projecting it onto "exgays" is an immature way to resolve personal dilemmas.

The larger question is why homosexual activists would turn so quickly on person who was once a integral part of their culture and mission? We'll leave that for another post.

Former Congressman Mark Foley is now an uncloseted gay man and a closted pedophile. His lawyer also announced he was molested. I thought gay activists claimed that molestation and pedophilia wasn't a part of their culture? Oh wait, not all gays are molested and not all gays are pedophiles.

While Foley is ultimately responsible for his own reprehensible conduct, it does reflect on the judgment of the American electorate who voted him into office, especially with the allegations of his homosexuality continuing to swirl about him. Our deeper problem is that we continue to believe that the personal sexual conduct of our elected officials is somehow immaterial to their ability to discharge their official duties with integrity.

Catching Up

Much has happened since I last posted. But that's time and the world. Whether you like it or not, whether you participate or not, things happen and times marches on.

So we'll use this post to do a little catching up.

Schools Ignorant and Arrogant
Yesterday's tragic school shootings in the Pennsylvania Amish community of nickel Mines reopens a fresh new debate about saftety in schools. Saftey should never be compromised for any child. Yet, when I think about the selfish and self serving agenda of gay activist groups like GSLEN, I cannot help but shudder. As a Christian parent with three children in public schools, I also cannot help but think that America is ignorant and arrogant in the face of God. We legislated Him out of our public schools under the guise of "rights". No longer are children taught to acknowledge God, but to extol the "virtues" of godless humanism. Discipline is now politically correct, not corrective. Drugs, violence, sex and various forms of humanistic brainwashing has created a cesspool environment for our students. While I am not an advocate of some sort of mass exodus from public schools, I am in favor of Christian parents and teachers taking a more active and vocal position in the local schools.

Pedophiles in Office
Congressman Mark Foley (R-FL), whom gay rights activists considered as a "closted" homosexual is also man with a sick attraction to young boys. Foley, resigned last week when revelations of his demented attraction hit the media. This should be of no suprise, because the gay community cultivates and celebrates a pedophile culture. Foley seems to have been comfortable making advances to what the homosexual community calls "twinks" [caution: suggestive photo via wikipedia]. The term is largely associated with pornography

Foley follows a tainted group of openly homosexual legislators

In 1973, at the age of 36, Rep. Gerry Studds (D-MA) engaged in a sexual relationship with a teenage male page whom he took to Morroco to do the dirty deeds. Although he immediately pleaded guilty to the charges and was reprimanded by the House Ethics Committee, Studds refused to resign. Ironically, he was re-elected by his district until he retired in 1996 and seen by gay rights groups as a pioneering gay legislator.

Barney Frank (D-MA) was embroiled in a sex scandal complete with prostitution, pedophila and the ever mythical "monogamus gay relationships". Frank took up with Stephen Gobie, a male prostitute who had a previous conviction for producing obsenity involving a juvenile among other things. Frank quickly integrated Gobie into Capitol Hill life but Gobie wasn't a changed man. He began running a prostitution ring out of Frank's Washington apartment. Frank was censured by the HEC and emerged as a power player in national politics.
Foley, though his crime didn't involve sexual contact, seems to have lost favor with gay activsts as Americans for Truth point out.

Hook and Crook
Bishop Harry Jackson's Townhall editorial accuses gay activists of playing the sleight of hand. Should that surprise anyone who knows how underhanded they can be?

"Despite the rhetoric of Democratic legislators this summer, they were working feverishly behind the scenes on an anti-marriage agenda. Their language was rehearsed and unified. Unfortunately, most of them lied to the public about their motives for not wanting to fully discuss a constitutional amendment to protect marriage."

Bishop Jackson is correct. Over and over we hear from the Democrats that the nation has "more important issues" than gay marriage yet behind the scenes they 1. Label anti-gay ballot measures as divisive
2. Train state party operatives in all 50 states on how to campaign against anti-gay ballot measures.
3. Work with National Stonewall Democrats to develop talking points.
4. Equate pro-family values arguments with racism
5. Enlist celebrity backing and endorsements.

If they truly believed the other issues were indeed more important, why the feverish work in repsonse to it? Perhaps only their hairdressers know.

Anti-Bible activists gather in Dallas to throw stones

After donning the trappings and air of sanctimonius religious authority, a group of homosexual activists gathered in Dallas to throw stones at traditional Biblical morality and sexual conduct. Calling themselves the "Bishops and Elders Council", the activists represented a stunning array of heretical beliefs under the guise of welcoming people (specifically other unrepentant homosexuals)into the church. But the first order of business was to stone the "religious right" who is seen as an enemy to their attempts to advance a false gospel. That's according to Michael Adee, a field organizer for More Light Presbyterians.

"Why a Bishops & Elders Council, and why now? The Book of Acts testifies to an "unhindered Gospel." Today, the Gospel of Jesus Christ is being hindered by those referred to as "the Religious Right." It is time for new voices to lift up an unhindered Gospel which includes lesbian, gay, bisexual, same gender loving and transgender persons and their families."

How original can you be? The group ripped a page right (or is it left?) out of the Democrat Party platform and just added "our Christian faith" to it.

"Motivated by our Christian faith and to further our nation's founding goals of justice and equality for all, we call upon all people of goodwill to work actively for an end to discrimination against gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender persons by:
Realizing that the relationships of same-gender loving couples are equal in every way to heterosexual couples and are worthy of both the right to civil marriage and the rites of Christian marriage;
Reaffirming the rights of gays, lesbians, bisexuals, and transgender persons to full equality under the law, including adoption rights, employment and housing protections, and the right to openly serve in the U.S. military;
Refusing to cooperate with or support political or religious leaders who caricature and condemn the lives of gays and lesbians;
Refuting the ex-gay notion that sexual orientation and gender identity can and should be changed."

There is not one single word anywhere in the Word of God which unctions followers of Christ to affirm sin!

NARTH now "exgay"?

There's a major flaw with this post and it has to do with attribution. Two gay activist types are attempting to play a bizarre hand of race cards. More later on that.

But first, a few commercials.

1. I am no fan of the word exgay or ex-gay as presented by gay rights activists or the exgay crowd (if they embrace that term). To me, its just a political byword. Gay is a political identity and thus exgay (as defined) is simply an outgrowth of that identity.
2. I'm not defending NARTH in any way. I think the Besen/exgaywatch brouhaha is excessively manufactured media pandering. Don't be surprised, that's nothing new.

Rod 2.0's blog headline reads "Ex-Gays" Refuse to Apologize for Slavery Remark. That would be true if the alleged offenders were actually exgays. But they are not. So the story's thesis makes it obviously slanted against so-called exgays. Or at least those who go by that term. Specifically, NARTH is a self described scientific/research organization. It has partnerships with exgay ministries and various coalitions of groups who believe homosexuality can be changed. But NARTH itself is not an exgay group. It could be more accurately termed a pro-exgay organization.

Dr. Gerald Schoenewolf is not exgay either. He is a member of NARTH, but not exgay. So just who are these "exgays who refuse to apologize"? Furthermore we have heard absolutely nothing from the APA of which Dr. Schoenewolf is also a member.

From what I've seen NARTH hasn't at all said "we refuse to apologize". To say that they have is pure conjecture. Like any organization, NARTH has the right to have internal discussions about accusations and then decide as a group how they want to respond. If they plan to do so at all. However, the fire chiefs are yelling fire and want NARTH to run out of the building naked.

And finally, tell me why white gays are not apologizing for the repeated acts of racism they engage in? Do they get a pass? Comments are different that acts. Wayne Besen's feigned concern about "racism" is just that. Feigned. He has yet to say anything significant about that. There has certainly been some angry rumbling in that area. Maybe NARTH should pull a Clinton on them.

Have you ever seen an elephant riding a giraffe backwards? If you did, wouldn't you find that was just, well...strange?

If you think that's strange, "gay christians" have one goal in their bit part on the gay rights acting stage. That is to refute the veracity of scripture. With every hook and crook, every shadowy doubt they can cast, these people are intent on proving the Bible is wrong and they are right. For the more ~~cunning~~ enlightened ones, their contention is that the Bible has been misinterpreted, therefore arriving at the same conclusion as their denial-prone comrades. Or some other spiritual tomfoolery.

For example look at this twisted dissertation. Timothy Kincaid who is forging a stellar career as a professional gay christian with the exgaywatch conglomorate, posits that 1 Corinthians 6:9 is basically a made up translation. Even though the book's author, the Apostle Paul was one of the most highly educated Jews of his time, Kincaid swishingly dismisses Paul's intellect as well as his spiritual insight.

"I don’t know what the word selected in 1 Corinthians 6:9 means. Perhaps Paul was talking about same-sex activity, or alternately he meant those who bullied same-sex attracted persons. Perhaps he meant rapists, or maybe men who spent the day lounging in bed, or men with too many female slaves. Or maybe there was some cultural refernce that ironically had nothing more to do with men or beds than a lounge-lizard has to either lounging or lizards. I don’t know. And neither does Joe Dallas, James Dobson, or Alan Chambers.
But I do know that building a doctrine and claiming that "sexual orientation can be changed" based on nothing more than one slang word that is confusing at best seems to me to be grasping and tortured."

Let's decipher this: Not sure about 1Cor 6:9 because translations are really hard. Gee, why did God put together the Bible, only for us to be perpetually confused about it. And what about the scripture that says STUDY to show yourself approved unto God...? But that was written by Paul too so I guess its not applicable based on faulty translation. But, Kincaid is 100% sure (how convenient) that "one slang word" in the Bible isnt enough to sway him on the lofty beliefs of the APA and simular professional antiBible clones. Yet, this is selfprofessed Christian. Apostle Paul and the Word of God?: doubt them completely. APA and secular psychiatrists?: Believes them completely.

These acts or whatever you want to call them are treacherous. To say that you are a follower of Christ, but then to go behind His back and stab Him (or kiss him Judas style)by refuting His word is maddening. "gay christians" are a breed unto themselves circulating a false gospel, authorized by a false jesus and ultimately producing false converts.

I haven't seen Bill this angry and unhinged since he was caught refaced guilty with Monica Lewinsky. Apparently, he's a wee bit perturbed that accusations are growing louder about his failures to deal with the Bin Laden situation while he was in office. The Lewinsky debacle feeds into it, because he was so preoccupied with vainly fighting the truth about his White House sex scandal that he ordered the bombings just to get his (and Monica's) name off the front pages. How cheap for the former chief executive.

Clinton is a man perpetually in denial. He denied the adulterous sexcapade with Lewinsky and now he's denying that he was negligent in dealing with Bin Laden. Its my opinion that Clinton's gross dereliction of duty, exacerbated by his uncontrollable sexual appetite (Why Hillary wasn't taking care of business at home is still a mystery) was a significant factor in 9/11.

Speaking of Hillary, she and MSM are all upset because Rev Jerry Falwell used her name in the same sentence with "Lucifer". However, same MSM had no problems when a foreign dictator came on American soil and directly called our President "the devil. Then Chavez went to a black ~~mausoleum~~ church in Harlem to joke about it. Like Falwell, I hope Hillary runs for President. It would be good for the American electorate cause nobody wants a she-devil in office.

I got an email from Joe Brummer aka "Voicesgainsthate" stating that I needed to make a correction to the post exposing his hypocrisy on nonviolence. Is a correction needed? Indeed it is. Unfortunately, its much worse than I thought.

On September 6th, 2006 at 9:18 pm, Brummer tepidly writes in reponse to the Kautzer's assertions that the murdered, 51 year old woman deserved to die:

I agree Dan, Adam, your comments are just generalizations about them. I would say most are not “happy” when anyone is hurt by violence, I just don’t think they want to see the part they may play in that violence. That comment seems more like a cheap shot against them and you know how I feel about that. It just doesn’t get us anywhere.
They are people, I know it is as hard for us to see that as it is for them to see us as people. We are not an agenda, we are people.

Uhhh. Yeah. Right. A man strongly suggests that a poor, defenseless woman stabbed to death by a crazed homosexual man is somehow deserving of that fate and your response is that its a "cheap shot"? A "generalization"?? Considering Brummer quickly censored and cut off Guy Adams from his site and then launched an all out war against Adams because he opposed homosexuality is telling on the character. Brummer downplays homosexual activist violence, but his self righteous anger boils over at select others.

As far as I can tell, even though Kautz called the 51 year old murdered woman an "inconsiderate bigot" and suggested that she deserved to die for telling a gay man he could change his homosexuality, Brummer said nothing in opposition to such a violent spasm of words. You may also notice that Kautz blamed the murderer's mother for his actions, but simply attributed the man's violence to "overreaction". That's the same excuse he gave for his "overreaction" towards me.

I often laugh in utter amazement at activist homosexuals who claim "coming out" is about being "honest" and "truthful" about who you really are. And according to these people much more. You've probably heard the spiel before, even more as of lately since Jim McGreevey, the white down low, twice married (to women) and ex-govenor of NJ is on his book tour.

I could barely watch Matt Lauer's interview with him on the Today Show this morning. It was like watching a gory, slasher, horror movie. What struck me as funny was although he claims in his book to have done all the same things many of us who are no longer gay did when we were gay, somehow his anonymous sexcapades are acceptable because he was repressed and had no other choice. Newsbusters noted that McGreevey blamed the "immoral and ugly" way he acted out on his homosexuality on the fact that his parents were straight and thus couldn't act as role models.

By the way speaking of honesty, the man Jim says was the passionate ~~sex partner~~ true love of his life says the govenor has amassed a pack of momumental lies about the two of them. Honesty? Well, its in the eye of the beholder I guess.
The other thing was that Matt Lauer was almost giddy in his interview like he was interviewing a young woman vying to become the next Miss America. But that's another post.

Let's just say a person's personal disclosure about themselves and their pronouncement of their identity is as valid, truthful and honest as McGreevy and other homosexual activist say it is. Why then do they spend such considerable time, energy and money attempting to shoot down and assasinate those who honestly and publicly declare they are no longer gay? And if that's not enough, those who support us are targets for assasination also.

Do gays really value honesty? If they do, then what is it about our honesty and truthfulness that frightens them to such a degree?

The poll found that 20 percent of homosexuals said they had had 51-300 different sex partners in their lifetime, with an additional 8 percent having had more than 300.

It found that 55 percent of homosexuals said they never (20%), occasionally (10%) or usually (25%) practiced so-called "safer sex."

41 percent of homosexuals had met a sex partner online -- a habit that medical professionals say could be driving the increase in sexually transmitted diseases in the homosexual population.

Recently, the trial of Bishop Terry Hornbuckle of Arlington, TX wrapped up with Hornbuckle receiving 15 years in prison for sex crimes committed against female members of his church. This is a decidely Biblical perspective emanating from that event. Moral of this whole sordid story: Wrong is just plain wrong no matter who did it.

For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? 1 Peter 4:17 KJV

It’s said if you don’t like Texas weather, wait five minutes. Sadly, it seems Texas church sex scandals are on the same schedule. Just recently, after the conclusion of one, another one reared its ugly head. The first, involving a prominent suburban pastor, was a tasty, toxic mix of the usual ingredients: sex, drugs, lies, womanizing. Not to mention the steamy side dishes of the faithful, longsuffering wife, the secretary doubling as mistress, the nanny doubling as mistress, the alleged “big-dog” cover-ups and the dwindling-but-supportive congregation. This hot dish was served daily in the news media with a generous topping of ego and power abuse.

The first Texas scandal concluded with multiple court convictions and a deposed pastor on his way to prison. The second, still unfolding, involves a senior-citizen pastor who counseled a woman grieving a miscarriage that she had a "sex demon", which he allegedly proceeded to exorcise by commanding her to lie down on the floor and then raping her. (That brings a whole new meaning to “exorcising your demons.” But that’s another story.)

This essay is not to debate the guilt or innocence of these two men. It’s not even about the unwise, perhaps foolish actions of the peripheral people involved. No, this is about us. This is about today’s Church leadership atmosphere that continues to support, enable and protect leaders who persist in wrongdoing. This fertile, breeding ground for errant behavior is a hot, ugly mess.

This is not a new phenomenon. Scandals have been around since there was a Church. And there have always been those who presented the happy-family image for the photo ops and later trolled the pews for partners once the cameras stopped running. Position, power and a halfway-good-looking, charismatic leader without a Spirit-led sense of restraint AND checks-and balances firmly in place can be a deadly combination. The familiar African-American minister’s phrase, “Doc (pastor), how many folk you running?” could just as easily be applied to his lovers as the size of his congregation. (And don’t be fooled: Rev. Beloved’s partners could be men and/or women!)

“Stop snitching” isn’t just in the rap world. Our followers, who once may have rushed to install us on pedestals on which only Christ belongs, are then treated like turncoats and renegades when they speak out against our sexual/moral/financial corruption. Perhaps in the interest of protecting our own secrets, we play the back-scratching game of “Yeah, Pastor Player has (wink, wink) ‘issues.’ But don’t we all? Just put him in the hands of the Lord.” Even worse, we fire the preemptive warning shot to the congregation by misapplying Psalms 105:15: “Don’t touch my anointed.” I’ve seen faithful believers leave the Church disillusioned, broken-hearted and distrustful, because of sorry actions and sorrier cover-ups.

Let’s make one thing clear: being called does not mean being perfect. Every one of us has issues seen and unseen. Not a single one of God’s men and women were called because they were sin-free. Everyone has something we leave at the foot of the cross on a daily basis. However – there’s a difference between struggling with sin and wallowing in it.

There was a time when being a minister meant a sense of honor, of being in awe of being chosen, and of being hyper-conscious not to defame the Name of Our Lord and our vocation. It meant a path to purpose and an opportunity to lead, teach, shepherd and preach. Not a path to getting paid and getting laid; a path to $1000 suits and $600 shoes.

If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.
But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters. 1 Peter 4: 14-15 KJV

All I’m saying is bring the honor back in ministry. We are not responsible for policing our colleagues like some extreme “Church Lady.” But we are responsible for what we know. As the aforementioned Scripture tells us, if we must suffer, let us suffer for the cause of Christ, not our own unchecked foolishness.

Pay now or pay later.
Pay now by honestly confessing and ruthlessly confronting sin first in our own lives, then urging our colleagues to do the same. Pay now by creating a safe circle of accountability and restoration now, way before you may need it. Pay now by, according to Romans 6:17-18, marking (expose and do not fellowship with) those who habitually bring shame to the Name of Jesus Christ. And pay now by praying for everyone in the ministry and their followers, especially those already affected by sin and scandal. The enemy would like nothing better than a wasted testimony and a scattered flock.

God is watching. Let us be found faithful, not fearful. If we refuse to “handle up” ourselves, don’t be surprised when He allows the State of One-of the Fifty, The People vs. Rev. Out-of-Control, to do our job.

Things not quiet on the marriage front

There is much more we have to do before we can be sure that homosexual activists do not succeed in a federal case against male-female traditional marriage.

In November, seven states - Arizona, Idaho, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Virginia and Wisconsin - will vote on marriage protection amendments on state ballots. A proposed amendment also is pending in Colorado. In previous amendment balloting, the average approval rate has been 70 percent.
The significance of these votes is clear: Americans, by large numbers, do not want to legally recognize same-sex marriage. In Arizona, the Alliance Defense Fund joined with the Center for Arizona Policy to collect 300,000-plus signatures of residents who wanted the issue placed on the November ballot. That means many people are ready to defend marriage there.
My friend Robert Knight, director of the Culture & Family Institute, an affiliate of Concerned Women for America, says, "Homosexual activists are hoping to crack the defensive wall around marriage by filing lawsuits in a number of states, and eventually bringing down the federal Defense of Marriage Act, which defines marriage for all federal purposes as the union of a man and a woman, and allows states under the Full Faith and Credit Clause not to be forced to recognize unions not legal under their own laws."
"Their strategy is to win the 'right to marry' in several state courts before they make a head-on challenge in federal court," adds Jan LaRue, chief counsel for Concerned Women for America. "Even the win in Massachusetts hasn't given them a basis to challenge the federal Defense of Marriage Act because Massachusetts' law limits same-sex marriage to couples who reside there."
This is a battle we must not lose.

911: Where were you Part III

The unity of the country following the attacks of 911 was simply astounding. In a way, it makes you long for those fleeting days when Democrats and Republicans, blacks and whites, heterosexuals and homosexuals, rich and poor and everyone in between seemed to come together to help heal the hurt and devastation America suffered. Sure we are fractured (again?) in so many ways, but that makes the longing much more intense.

Later on 911, I saw the both houses of congress all come out in the open to pray and sing [with audio]"God bless America". Bad notes and all, I believe each of them had a sincere heart that America would and could recover. How could anyone not be touched with the depth of grief on the faces of the people looking for their loved ones in the lingering aftermath of the carnage? I had seen numerous times on TV, people in "underdeveloped" countries weeping, crying and looking when castrophes hit them. But I must confess I didn't really feel anything much. Perhaps because it was a faraway place and I didn't quite connect with them. But to see your own people, other Americans in a state of bewilderment, coupled with the emotional trauma of 911 made me see things in a different light.

As a new pastor (we had just started our church in March of 2001), I discovered in that time that America really needed to learn how to bless God. He had already blessed us beyond imagination, but we had been negligent in blessing Him. 911 proved to be an excellent opportunity to show God that we were indeed thankful that things were not worse. Yes, I said worse. Generally, upwards of 50,000 people worked in the World Trade Center's two towers.

The unity of the people brought back heartfelt memories I still carried from my eight months in Saudi Arabia and Iraq during the first Gulf War. From what I was told by my family and friends, there was an unprecedented move to prayer in the nation. People were truly looking to God for help, comfort and protection as we went into war. That made me and just about every soldier I know feel good inside knowing that the country was with us. Though separated by thousands of miles and in a presumably hostile culture, America was with us. I got quite a few letters from little kids that would make any hard man cry. They were so innocent and encouraging.

That says a lot about national pride. So people may minimize it, but it is when we are all under duress from the same common enemy that we shine the brightest. Of course no one wants that, but when it is what you are handed, coming together is a powerful affirmation of our divinely implanted human spirit.

Remember all the flags that people flew from their cars? Flags were everywhere! Yes, it all died down after a while, but it was great to see Americans proud to be Americans for a while.

Finally, I want to remember and honor the members of the military who were killed in action at the Pentagon. One thing we soldiers do: we are at our posts and we stay until relieved of duty. While I do not place my faith in military might nor do I believe that military strength and prowess alone is keeping America safe, I am deeply grateful for and support every servicemember 100%. Volunteering to serve your country is an awesome thing. For every one who falls in battle, another steps up to take his or her place.

Sixty years ago, America was broadsided in broad daylight with much of the same circumstances. As a matter of fact, the attack by the Japanese December 7, 1941 on Pearl Harbor is the only major event of such a dark nature to top September 11, 2001. This generation seemed insulated from such a brazen assault on our doorstep. But if 911 taught us anything, it was that the feeling of being "safe" was a relative concept.

September 10th had come and gone. A "normal" day just like any other. September 11 was here and we were not prepared. I can't recall exactly what station or broadcast those of us at AA in Atlanta were watching --perhaps the Today Show-- but I can remember them playing the scence of the crashes over and over. It was a breathtaking sight, fascinating in a weird way. We didn't want to look at it, but something forced us to watch it over and over, as many times as they played it. I'll never forget that.

By this time the Pentagon had been hit and the terror spread. There were rumors that the White House could be next.

We had finally gotten all of the passengers out of the terminal or at least in our part of the building. I felt so sorry for them. They were like sheep without a shepherd. But we all began to discuss, in hushed tones, what was happening. Especially our coworkers who had perished on the two AA flights. There was a vortex of emotions in my mind: anger, deep sadness, hopelessness, fear, anticipation (was it over?). That's when a thought jolted my mind. My wife. What about my wife!? She too was at work that day in an Atlanta high rise. I dialed and redialed her office number trying to get her on the line. She wasn't answering her cell phone either. That wasn't unusual.

No Safe Places
But finally she picked up her desk phone. I didn't wait.
"Honey, get out of that building now and go home!"
My voiced cracked a little. Yes, there were some wild thoughts going through my head. What building was next to be attacked and where? I kept thinking I don't want to have to raise my children alone. After seeing what saw on that TV, I guess a million other people were thinking the same thing. No high rise is safe.
"Honey, she said, "We haven't been cleared to leave yet."
"I don't care! Tell your boss that this is an emergency and you have to leave. And then just do it!"
She told me she had another briefing to go to and promised me she would get out soon.

American finally let me go about 2:45pm. There was nothing else we could do there. Emotionally exhausted from the day's events, I drove home and cried. My wife got home about an hour later. She found me glued to the TV watching every picture, listening to every word. I remember feeling numb and empty. I didn't know one soul personally in the Twin Towers, but I felt this agony at knowing they had to die in such a way. And as they had done thoughout the day, the networks showed over and over the crashes, explosions and the towers falling down. Who would have ever thought. I had several postcards of the towers that I had bought in New York back in '83 when I was stationed at Fort Monmouth, NJ. I pulled them out and looked incredulously at them.

Nightmares and dreamscapes
I probably shouldn't have watched so much TV. I was already a news junkie and this really made things bad. I know this sounds crazy but for the next 2 days I did much of nothing except watch the TV, cry and sleep. On Sept 12, the nightmares began. I dreamed I was in a plane and it crashed into a building. In another dream I saw people that I knew get on a plane and then saw it crash. I felt like I was losing control.

On September 13, I was scheduled to fly to Lansing, MI to speak at a church, but since the whole US was a no fly zone, the trip was cancelled.

Where were you on 911 and what were you thinking? I invite all bloggers to help remember and recall so that we don't forget those who were lost. And prayerfully we can regain our national sanity. I think that even though it has been five years, it is still fresh in our minds. I respect those who don't want to talk about it. I understand.

And what did you think was happening?

Over the next few days until the 911 anniversary, I will be remembering where I was, what I felt and what I did during the attack on America dealt to us by the hands of 19 Islamic terrorists. I don't think I have ever relayed my 911 experience, but I hope that it becomes part (as I do yours) of the oral fabric of American history. No matter who you were or where you were, 911, as it is now known, is a marker of some sort. I encourage all bloggers to be as personal as you can when describing the day to your readers. Thanks, and despite our differences and because of our commonalities, I'm proud to be an American alongside you.

We all know that September 11, 2001 will forever be a dark day in American history. It was America's new dawning, the realization that the elements existing in the world around us had truly changed for the worst. And we were its target.

Crash and Burn
The day is particularly poignant for me. I was a ten year American Airlines employee and on September 11 I was scheduled to see my supervisor about a pay raise I knew I deserved but hadn't got. I was a little angry because I knew I did a good job. At the time I was a gate agent working the Dallas 757s and Chicago "super 80s". It was a pressure cooker job with exacting deadlines, demanding people and attention to details. From there I volunteered to work in the baggage service office which was even more demanding than the gates. Yet, I loved doing it.

I'd traded my normal late night shift to work the morning shift. Out of the ordinary for me because I was a typical "night owl". Getting up early never appealed to me, but to help a coworker out, I did it. Since I was up early for the 9am shift start, I didn't even turn the news on. To be honest,I was a little nervous about being late so I didn't want to get involved with the news like I usually did.

I arrived at Hartsfield-Jackson employee parking around 8:40 am. That began the eventful day for me and millions of other people around the country. When I pulled up to the guardhouse, I took out my ID to show, but instead heard a woman scream inside, "The plane hit the building! Oh God!" She glanced quickly at my ID and went back inside. I thought there must have been a "regular" plane crash. Working in the airline industry, you can become a little desensitized to such things so I tucked it in knowing I could find out more when I got to my office.

On the bus, everyone was eerily silent as we rode the three minutes to T terminal. A short time later, I walked into the office and John my tall, lanky coworker from Connecticut who'd been with American for almost 20 years stood transfixed on the TV, his face ashen white. What's going on John?, I asked.
He said nothing.
Then..."Oh God, no. No."
I looked at the TV just in time to see the second plane (United 175) violently crash into the World Trade Center's South Tower. It was a little after nine in the morning. John and I both stood motionless. Not knowing what to think, but both of us believeing what we were seeing was real. I didn't know that the first plane was one of ours. I felt hot tears well up in my eyes. Was this war? Who was it? Are all these people dead? It was a surreal moment assaulting every one of our senses.

We both continued to watch. Others had joined us in the office backroom. Nobody said anything but gasps and quick breaths. By the time we realized this was something diabolical --not accidental-- it was too late. Too late to stop anything. Too late to say anything. Too late to do anything except continue to stand and stare shocked and amazed. Some people had started to cry openly by that time.

We heard from the AA Atlanta station manager that Hartsfield was about to ground all inbound and outbound flights. Nothing would move. Everything would be frozen in place. Any plane moving would be diverted to the nearest airport. Not only that, but everyone in the airport --thousands of people-- would have to immediately vacate the premises. Only employees and law enforcement would be allowed inside.

That's when bedlam broke out. I have never seen such raw fear, such a scene of confusion. It was everywhere. Passengers were trying to ask us all types of questions, but all we could say is you have to get out of the airport immediately. One woman wanted to know when could I rebook her to get to Detroit. I guess everyone was still in a state of unbelief.
Then, I thought about my wife, a government employee who was working in a downtown Atlanta highrise. My thoughts panicked as I nervously dialed and redialed her work number.

Post's remarks are a telling anatomy of the double-faced (sometimes tripled) hypocrisy Besen has become known for. Remember when I painted a Hitler mustache on his picture and compared his tactics to Hitler's? He fell apart and cried to Exodus to make me stop. After he had proclaimed he was ready to "do battle". Despite the feigned offense coupled with a coy and sheepish act he put on in the wake of hitlergate, Besen has rebounded. And the venom bullets are flying. Like his storm-trooper in training says she admires his ability to confront the "radical christian right" "strongly" and "forcefully".

The problems with 'Pride'

"Black Pride" in Atlanta is supposed to be the place to be during Labor Day weekend. Estimates put the attendees near 35 to 40,000 but that's an extremely hard figure to quantify. The organizer's website claimed this year's attendance was "the biggest" celebration to date, but in what ways?
While talk of being more political and activist oriented looks good on paper, I think the great majority of the black gays and lesbians that trekked into Atlanta were here for sex hookups and partying.

One component of Atlanta's BP is the march. Yes, the march. Black gays actually get out on the street and proclaim their identity and pride to just about anyone who'll stop, look or listen. Last year the march appeared to be picking up steam, but this year it was a dismal failure. I don't mean that as critical, just as fact.

If you're wondering how I know, I was there. A friend of mine called me to see if I wanted to go. I thought about if I should go out and evangelize some, but I eventually decided to just go and observe, talk to people and be friendly. That's what I did.

I noticed something that perhaps you'd only notice if you were black. Black folk really are the same. The parade should have started at 10:30, but due to chronic CP time, it began about 45 minutes late. I think part of that problem was that they kept waiting on others to come, but they didn't materialize. Ultimately only about 30 people gathered for the march. Even fewer stood to watch. I noticed that black folk talk about all kinds of stuff. I heard snippets of conversations ranging from "Hey I'm celebrating six years of sobriety today!" to "where were you last night?"

The marchers seemed spirited enough, but I could tell they were bothered by the extremely low turnout and the lower number of spectators. Some of the spectators weren't even there to see them, they were at the old Ebenezer sightseeing.

Identity Confusion
As they left, the marchers began chanting: "We're black, we're out, we're proud!" I looked around to gauge the reaction of the people and they all had puzzled looks. I asked one lady --she was there with her friend from Trenton, NJ-- if she knew what this was all about.
"No!", she replied, surprised. "What is it?"
When I told her the people were homosexuals marching, she said oh. I asked her what she thought about it. She told me that she couldn't pass judgment on anybody, but she had no idea that's what it was. "I thought it was a drug rally or something."
The woman told me that she also couldn't understand what the marchers were saying. The other woman replied dryly, "My Bible tells me that they are wrong to do that."

I thought it was strange the marchers made no reference to their sexual preference. They said "black, out and proud" not "black, gay and proud". I wondered if that was intentional. Two people carried the gay flag. One woman even posed with it for the Southern Voice. However, none of the people watching knew what the flag meant either. I guess Black people don't connect with the white, gay imagery. Which brings up another strange point about the march. Why parade with white, gay rainbow flag, but chant about being black...and proud?

My friend and I did't march or clap or anything. We just watched. Later, we drove over to the Gold Dome where the march culminated to see if the crowd would get larger and what was being said. Well, the crowd grew by about 10 people.

Beyond the Gold Dome
Speeches were already in full effect when we got to the Gold Dome. What I heard was the usual we-can't-let-them-take-our-rights type of stuff. Somebody sang a song. I don't know what it was (sounded gospel), but the guy had a great voice. Then, I guess there was a mix-up at the Dome. Capitol Police told the marchers they could not stand on the Capitol steps and there were some angry words exchanged. I'm not sure if the Atlanta PD policewoman involved was gay, but she looked it. She got into an exchange with the other woman about where they could and could not stand. When the APD woman came back to where the other four cops were standing close to me, she was clearly perturbed.
"Why couldn't they stand on the steps?", I asked.
"Susta woman trying to get funky with me!", she said. "They don't have a permit. And we have to do our jobs. She said she's paying my salary, but I told her she got a whole lot of more paying to do before I don't do my job. They not right, man. They need to do what's right!"
The other cops all agreed. Apparently, whoever organized the march, didn't get the Capitol permit. What I thought was real funny, if not strange, was the reaction the gays gave. Note: all of the police out there (about ten) were black. All of them. But some of the gays claimed "discrimination" when they were told to move. And then they broke out into an impromptu version of the old Negro civil rights song "Aint gone let nobody turn me around." I thought that was bizarre.

Gays want gospel music, not the Gospel

A friend in Dallas recently attended the infamous Gospel Music Workshop of America (GMWA). He reported that our worst fears are confirmed. Homosexuals, many who flaunt their sexuality choices, are the stars of the show at the event.

I wrote about the GMWA and its controversial founder James Cleveland in my book Touching A Dead Man. The stories I compiled revealed a picture of a man whose sexual appetite for young singing black boys could have been the reason why he created the GMWA. You won't believe some of the stuff I discovered! Cleveland, who eventually died of AIDS, was in my opinion, a sexual monster who ruined and debased the very musical expression intended to uplift people. I am still shocked that anyone would "celebrate" such a profane life.

Yvette Flunder the lesbian, ex Walter Hawkins singer turned bishop and gay activist remarked at an Atlanta gay conference that if they took out all of the gays in the church, the church wouldn't have any music. Laughing, she mockingly said the church would be left with maybe one or two songs nobody wanted to sing. I think that's a lie. An arrogant lie. But gay religionists do love gospel music. The problem is they don't love The Gospel. That's a major problem. Singing the gospel you refuse to obey or submit to is an abomination. Offering up "strange fire", as the Bible calls it, and a deadly venture to those who do it.

Black gays and their rocky love/hate relationship with the church is a bonified mess. That's on both sides of the fence. The war is fueled by the voodoo-like beliefs of the black gay community's spokespersons like E. Lynn Harris. People like Harris feel they can create the type of church which allows sin to be accepted and celebrated. Any opposition to this is branded "discrimination" and "intolerance", etc.

But back to Dallas and the GMWA convention. "Bro X" as I will call him told me:

"I had the pleasure, or should I say displeasure of going to the Gospel Music Workshop of America and it was a hot mess. Trust me, it is everything you said and more in your book confirming what goes around at that convention. A friend of a friend (which is still in the life[style] who is a choir director for the New Orleans chapter) saw two young men walking out of the Hyatt Regency hotel in visible pink thongs right here in Dallas. I went to three of the concerts and I was not happy, but it actually hurt a bit."

Yeah, I know what you're saying. If he knew it was like that, why go? Well, ignoring sin only allows people to lie about what's really going on with no witness to refute it. Some people still think the GMWA is a great place to let their youth go to. We need to hear this from people like Bro X, to remind us the threat the church remains alive and real.
The GWMA's motto is "The convention where everybody is somebody." Sure, you have to have a generic motto like that to accomodate the homosexuals in leadership like Alex Byrd of the Dallas Chapter. Byrd is "married" to another man and pastors a homosexual church in the Dallas area. But that's not a disqualifier to the GWMA.

Homosexuality doesn't seem to be an issue in the least with GMWA. Maybe that's the real legacy of James Cleveland. For instance, at the 2006 Dallas meeting, the 90s R&B group Sisters With Voices (SWV) were hailed [cached] at the GWMA for returning to gospel music. In September, the group were featured performers at a New York homosexual event "Black Pride" along with this man. Yep, that's a man. Yet, Cheryl Clemons told the GMWA that she never left gospel music. "I've always been active in my church," she said. "Church was more than a breeding ground for me to sing. It's where I nurture my soul. It's a lifestyle for me."

The broader question actually brings us back to the basics. Is what God said about sex and sexuality applicable in contemporary life? If we can shuck that restriction, what's to stop us from shucking any of His restrictions on anything simply because we no longer feel its relevant? The GMWA is a glaring example of "having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof". The Bible warns us: from such turn away.

The black community's tongues are a waggin' about the ABC News special on AIDS in the Black commununity.

I got an email a couple of days ago from a unknown, frantic black woman who wrote in bold letters "We must address this issue from the pulpit. I watched the program and it truly was a jaw dropper, a real eye opener." Where has she been? Preachers, or more importantly the Bible have been forever telling and warning people about sexual immorality.

3It is God's will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality; 4that each of you should learn to control his own body in a way that is holy and honorable, 5not in passionate lust like the heathen, who do not know God; 6and that in this matter no one should wrong his brother or take advantage of him. The Lord will punish men for all such sins, as we have already told you and warned you. 7For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life. 8Therefore, he who rejects this instruction does not reject man but God, who gives you his Holy Spirit. 1 Thess 4:3-8 NIV

Black people tend to be sensationalistic on some issues and with AIDS the sensationalism has gotten to epidemic proportions. ABC's Terry Moran must have known this and further exploited it by naming the special Out of Control: AIDS in Black America. What's really out of control in Black America is personal responsibility, not AIDS.

Black gay activist Keith Boykin quickly blamed failure to push condom usage, needle exchanges and a "sex-negative" message. That means that all and any types of sex should be celebrated and allowed--as long as you wear a condom. The "wisdom" of the world. Most of the shortsighted people view sex as an animalistic trait. Sex is something that is uncontrollable and should not be inhibited in the least. To them that's being "sex positive". From what I can tell sex positive leads directly to HIV positive. Virtually every gay site there is on the internet has some form of pornography from soft to hardcore. This only feeds the beast of sexual immorality. But for some reason they still haven't quite grasped why homosexual men are consistently at the top of the AIDS statistics lists. Even though they have tried all sorts of juvenile tricks (like the ridiculous comic book pictured), homosexual men continue to march into the AIDS death chambers like lambs to the slaughter. Year after year AIDS groups (largely run by gays) ply the fear tactics by quoting the grim statistics, but the foot soldiers are paying them no mind. But instead of taking responsibility for helping to spread AIDS by encouraging sexual promiscuity and dangerous sexual practices, they finger point and blame everyone else. Especially the church and the government.

Then ABC talked to some of our black "leaders". The black preachers interviewed on the program were a stumbling, bumbling mess of foolishness. Bishop TD Jakes included. I continue to be sorely vexed at their ineptitude and lack of insight into issues of sexual immorality. Its amazing when you see some of these people on the mega TV shows how much "revelation" they can come up with, but when facing generally a secular media, they come across like sheepish two year olds. God help us all.

All the more reason for you to demonstrate personal responsibility. AIDS can be stopped cold in the Black community in less than a decade if:
(1) You give your life to Christ and make him LORD over your sexuality.
(2) You live a life of sexual abstinence if you are single.
(3) You remain sexually faithful to your husband/wife if married.
(4) You stop supporting the idea that sex is nothing more than an uncontrollable urge.

If you say that you can't do that, then what you lack is personal responsibility and self discipline. A condom can't save any lives, but keeping yourself out of sexual mischief will guarantee that you won't have to worry about AIDS knocking on your door. And you won't have to worry about getting tested, which resolves nothing. But that's another post. Related:

'underground' dems don't like freedom

Unbeknownst to us, Witness went into the Democratic Underground and caused quite a stir among the lower bastions of enlightened constituents. One homosexual member of the site complained that the ad for Witness Ministries was akin to "having the Klan advertise in the racism forum."

"I only tried the ad to see if it was what I feared.", said "DSC", the gay complaintant. What were they so afraid of? I don't know, but seems like to me it would qualify for that phobia I talked about a while ago. Although they didn't ask me, I had absolutely nothing to do with an ad for my website appearing on a forum for homosexual activists in the Democrat Party. Maybe that's what prompted this.

But then again, God works in mysterious ways.

That's the message Evangelist Samantha Coleman of Atlanta is pushing real hard in her new CD single which is already enjoying top 10 radio airplay in select markets. I've known Samantha for over a year and she is one passionate young lady. God delivered her out of a hard gangsta rap lifestyle. But that aint all. She came out of lesbianism too and get this: one of the hottest cuts on the CD is her testimony, Funny Valentine. FV was remixed for such a time as this. Its got a groove that's tight and a message that's even tighter. Now, Im no music critic, but that song is smokin'!

The Invisible Life Ad

Black gays are feeling the crunch of invisibility closing in on them so they have trotted out yet another ad campaign reminding us that they are everywhere. I picked this one out of the four because, with its overt religious imagery, it reminds me of the Carlton Pearson drama which is re-unfolding. This ad left me somewhat speechless.
Something about it is just eerie. In several different ways.
And then again, maybe to the "inclusionists", it represents them accurately. I have no problems with gay people in church praying. That's a good thing, especially if they are seeking deliverance and change. But they really ought to leave prayer out of socio-political agendas.

So what do you think? The politics of prayer?

Hate on duty at CM Automotive Systems

The ugly head of prohomosexual hate reared up last week. Again. After the nasty and evil bout we had with since "repentant" racist and exgay hater Adam Kautz, an executive in Norwalk, CA went out of his way to call me and my wife names. He is Carlos R. Vitier and he's the Operations Manager for CM Automotive Systems. In an email sent to me on August 15th, Vitier writes:

"You are the perfect example of what gives Christianity a bad name. If indeed you believe all the garbage posted in your web site all that I can say is that your bigotry is only surpassed by your ignorance. If on the other hand your so called ministry is nothing more than a means to make easy money at the expense of other people's misery you two are truly despicable human beings."

Why is he surfing on my website on duty? I don't have any references to Automotive Systems on my site. Maybe he noticed the references to our military service and decided to insult us. Who knows? Since he didn't state whether or not he was a Christian, then we can only guess that he has no idea what being a Christian is about. Christ came explictity to transform sin-sick human life, but Vitier's view of Christianity is that helping people who want wholeness get it makes you "truly dispicable human beings". Vitier should stick to managing automive systems and stop trying to be a religious pundit.

CM's website states that the "Two leading manufacturers of trucks, Oshkosh Truck Corporation and AM General Corporation, chose CM All Terrain Mobilizer after a long and extensive search for suitable systems for their Military Vehicles. CM Automotive has over 15,000 systems installed and operating on various US Army Truck programs such as HET, PLS, ESP 2.5 Ton and ECV (Hummer)."
Vehicles my wife and I both drove and serviced while serving our country. Mr. Vitier makes quite a few judgmental assumptions about me and my wife by concluding with his own completely ignorant assessement (typical of prohomosexuals supporters) of our work.

Like the racists of 60s, I intend to expose all of these closet case bigots and hypocrites who nuture their smug hatred with email attacks. Since Vitier sent his email from his official work domain, I take it he wanted me to know his "position", so I contacted his employer.

Inclusion roadshow coming to Atlanta

Charisma Magazine's Senior Editor, Lee Grady sounds the alarm on false prophet Carlton Pearson who's bringing his inclusion roadshow to Atlanta October 2-4. Not only is he going to be in Atlanta, but at one of the area's most controversial churches, Cathedral of the Holy Spirit. Writes Grady:

Since he became a Universalist in the late 1990s, Carlton Pearson has lost almost all the support he once enjoyed among charismatics and Pentecostals in this country. His 5,000-member church in Tulsa, Okla., has shrunk to a few hundred, forcing his building into foreclosure. But that hasn’t stopped the discredited preacher from spreading his quirky “everybody is saved” doctrine on secular television programs, including National Public Radio, Fox News and the National Geographic Channel.
And now Pearson has announced that his next major theological summit—called Inclusion 2006—will be held in October at Cathedral of the Holy Spirit, a charismatic church founded by Bishop Earl Paulk in the Atlanta suburb of Decatur. It was one thing for Pearson to preach his heresies to a small and dwindling crowd at his Higher Dimensions Family Church in Tulsa, which meets in a borrowed Episcopal sanctuary. It is another thing for him to take his message on the road and preach it at Paulk’s church, which was at one time the most prominent charismatic congregation in the Southeast.
Today most of the Cathedral’s seats are empty. The congregation has been losing members steadily, especially in the last year after former church employees Bobby and Mona Brewer filed a lawsuit alleging that Paulk lured Mona into an ongoing adulterous affair.
Why is Paulk allowing Pearson in his pulpit? Why is he going so far as to host this heretical gathering in his neo-Gothic cathedral? It’s no secret that Pearson has already preached in the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit at least twice since he was officially labeled a heretic by a group of African-American bishops in 2004. It appears that Paulk has thrown his hat in the ring with his Universalist friend. Deception has spread its web.
What a sad day for our movement. I’m originally from Atlanta, and I remember the glory days in the mid-1970s when crowds discovered lively worship and spiritual renewal at Paulk’s church—then known as Chapel Hill Harvester. Today, after a long series of public scandals, the crowds have vanished, many staff members have fled and hundreds of once-dedicated church members are disillusioned and hurt. A church that was once known for spreading the message of the Holy Spirit’s power is now aligning itself with the most blatant form of blasphemy. Let’s pray that the infection will be contained rather than spreading to other parts of the body of Christ.

Heresy: the Carlton Pearson remix

Part one in a three part series
Disgraced and discredited Bishop Carlton Pearson says gays have embraced his old/new doctrine of "inclusion". He's right, they do. The question is why a doctrine rejected as heretical such a hit with religious homosexuals? Pearson has remixed the ancient heresy, adding some horns, drum recesses and recurring vocal snippets. And according to Pearson, gays are flocking to his dancefloor.

Pearson's story is a sad and tragic one indeed. The once wildly popular --and talented-- Pentecostal minister whose Azuza conferences drew thousands fell quickly after announcing that he no longer believed some of the most fundamental tenets of the Christian faith were applicable or even relevant. Pearson was a top gospel recording artist and had sat in high places in the religious world, enjoying close relationships with men such as Oral Roberts, TD Jakes and Bishop Charles Blake. One can't help but making comparisons to satan's fall from heaven after introducing a new "doctrine" of superiority.

Before I examine why Pearson made it a point to mention that homosexuals have embraced his wayward stance, let's look at the main points of Pearson's claims. According to On Doctrine, a website which reviews doctrinal challenges to the traditional Christian faith, Pearson's remixed revelation contains about 6 main claims:

A. The death of Jesus Christ on the cross and His resurrection paid the price for all of humanity to have eternal life in heaven, without any requirement to repent of sins and receive salvation.
B. Belief in Jesus Christ, is not necessary for a person to go to heaven. Salvation is unconditional, granted by the grace of God to every human being.
C. It is presumed that all of humanity will have its destiny in heaven, whether they realize it or not.
D. All of humanity will go to heaven regardless of their religious affiliation, including those who believe in false religions or adopt any other form of religious persuasion, or who have no religious persuasion.
E. Only those who have "tasted of the fruits" of real intimacy with Christ and have "intentionally and consciously rejected" the grace of God will spend eternity separated from God.
F. There are persons in some type of hell, but the emphasis is "to get away from the picture of an angry, intolerant God. I don't see God that bitter."

Pearson's new revelation is really nothing more than a regurgitated form of an old belief called universalism. It too has been soundly rejected however it hasn't stopped borderline apostate denominations like United Church of Christ, Unitarian Universalists and some swaths of Episcopals from adopting it.

It was seeded beliefs such as these which prompted the Joint College of African American Bishops (JCAAB), comprised of Pearson's contemporaries to publicly declare him a heretic. “To suggest that the reward of heaven–the ultimate gift of salvation–will be provided to unrepentant, unregenerate man … is ludicrous in its concept, lethal in its effect and contrary to both the content and intent of holy writ.”, the wrote in an 18 page indictment. They strongly reccomended that pastors nationwide deny Pearson access to their pulpits. Pearson, ever unrepentant, defended his beliefs here.

Pearson may not be back in local churches, but he is back in the media proclaiming a victory of sorts. His crowing caught the attention of gay activist Keith Boykin who said Pearson's doctrine "made sense" to him. Of course. In part two, I'll examine why this repudiated doctrine "makes sense" to people like Boykin and reveal for the first time some of the contents of two personal letters Pearson wrote to me almost a decade ago about my ministy, Witness. Stop being a professional victim!

Well, you might think I'm talking to the gay community. I am, inadvertently speaking, but that's the message I'm getting from Juan William's new book (take a deep breath) Enough: The Phony Leaders, Dead-End Movements, and Culture of Failure That Are Undermining Black America -- and What We Can Do About It.

Williams, a black senior correspondent for National Public Radio, takes up the mantle of entertainer turned real black daddy Bill Cosby in calling for change. He contends that current the "civil rights leaders" have time and time again sent the wrong message to poor black people desperately in need of direction. Amen Juan. Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Maxine Waters, Eric Micheal Dyson and some of the other race baiting professional victim trainers need to get another job. We are sick of their whining and pointless finger pointing.

I think Williams is speaking what the great majority of black folk are thinking. What's our real problem? Our foreparents were slaves and yet they emerged from that racial scourging with pride, self sufficiency, strong moral and family values, and most of all a VISION for their lives. Even in the face of jim crow, lynchings, and unfathomable discrimination, we survived and thrived. But it seems like with the "successes" of gaining our civil rights, the black American family has deteriorated. Our claim to fame seems to be little more than blaming somebody else for everything bad that happens to us. We have lost our way listening to a cadre of race hustlers intent on infusing a doctrine of victimology into our daily life.

Maybe, just maybe, we need to go back to water hoses and dogs for a couple of days in order for us to see that we are doing a whole lot better than the race pimp's gloomy race forecasts. Maybe then, our people will drop the professional victim from our ethnic resume.

I have seen a couple of astonishing incidences where homosexual activists have opened mouth and inserted foot big time. Some of this stuff is just inexcusable for human beings who purport to be educated.

Take for example black gay activist, aka "public theologian" (Rev.) Irene Monroe who decries Mel Gibson's "homophobia" and "hate speech" but ignores the brutal hate-filled murder of a Seattle Jewish woman by an Arab man. Like others in the liberal MSM who are quick to jump on alleged incidences of hate speech, they ignore more serious issues of white gay racism and crimes committed by homosexuals. The Gibson incident was a textbook example. Just two days after Gibson let loose his string of drunken anti-Jew statements, an Arab man actually targeted a Jewish establishment, killed a Jewish woman and wounded other Jews. Monroe's incredibly blinded ignorance lashes out at Gibson, but says nothing about the other deadly situation. The real object of her scornful contempt is for is "Christian fundamentalists" who she blames for all the evils happening to gays and Jews. Monroe needs to take the blue pill...quick.

Then there's this thing about hitler, nazis, and homosexuality. Most gay activists will come apart at the seams at any connecting inference made among these individuals and groups. For example, small time gay actvist Joe Brummer, got bent out of shape over an article written by Joseph A. DAgostino. Brummer, in typical staged outraged, replied that he was "getting sick as I read it. It starts off with a little tid bit of how the early Nazi's were homosexual. A fact that has been disproved many times over. A lie that has slapped so many in the face because it denies the thousands killed in camps for being homosexuals."

Disproved? Really? By whom? Oh wait, the homosexual community disproved it. Have you ever noticed that when they want to claim how historically embedded homosexuality is they commandeer good, dead people and pronounce them "gay"? They apply the broadest criteria possible to reel them in. Like former PTL head Jim Baker. Yep, he's on the list. You'll also find Achilles, Anne Frank and Marie Antionette on the list, but you won't find Hitler. Or any of his widely known homosexual cabinet members.

Hitler harbored homosexual tendencies and one of his closest associates, Roehm was a known homosexual. That's the same as MLK with Bayard Rustin. An argument used to suggest King was a gay supporter. Gays argue all the time that its the ones who "hate" homosexuals are actually homosexual themselves. But when the same argument is applied to Hitler, who fit the bill to a tee, the answer is "its been disproved many times over". Brummer's weak argument that because someone kills homosexuals, then they must not be homosexual is about as idiotic as it gets. So, gay people never kill anyone else? Brummer, as someone said, is one of the most inconsistent bloggers on the market. Ok, enough about small people trying to make a name for themselves.

Black lesbian leader accuses white gays of racism

With all the heightened focus on white, gay racism on this blog, some white gays accused me of trying to paint their community as something its not.

Ok, so what if a major black gay leader said that white gay groups were in effect racist? Would that mean anything? Judge for yourself. Jasmyne Cannick, who I debtated on radio several years ago, today launched an angry response to the white gay community's unsavory tactics. Cannick is a founding board member of the National Black Justice Coalition, the only black gay leadership organization in the US. Cannick chastised white gay groups for several transgressions, which apparently are repeated.

Arrogance

"They've somehow gotten it into their heads that non-Black gays hold the key to breaking the cycle of homophobia in the Black community." "You don't see us trying to message outside of our community on gay marriage with efforts to organize the overall gay community, so what the hell gives others the right to come into our community and try to undo all of the years of hard work that Black gays have put into fighting for our civil rights?"

Using black folk for their own selfish means

"The relationship between Black gay organizations and some of the other gay groups is one where publicly they embrace us and applaud our efforts but behind closed doors they're figuring out to move us out of the picture and do the job that we are doing."

Using money to get their way (we talked about that too)

"As with everything else, they've bypassed the Black gay leadership and are now trying to get the Blacks in Sacramento on their team, using any method necessary which usually means money and lots of it."

Pushing a marriage "agenda" which is counterproductive to black gays

"Marriage has never been number one on our agenda."

Racial insensitivity

"They want everyone who is gay to be gay first and race is a secondary issue. Race is the reason why you will find the majority of Black gays living in minority communities and not the self created gay enclaves like West Hollywood, Dupont Circle, and Greenwich Village."

I've said it before and will say it again: white gay activists are shortsighted and racist. They could care less about black people, even black gay people unless of course it is serving their means to get their "equality". Maybe that's why they are always screaming so loud about "homophobia". They hope no one will pay attention to all the racism they are practicing.

Texas Ford dealers say STOP!

While discussing the apparent deceptiveness of the gay community in regards to their finances, I brought up the Ford-gay relationship. See comments here. This morning, I received this interesting article from AFA.

Ford sales have consistently dropped since AFA began the boycott. The drop in March was 5%, April 7%, May 2%, June 6.8%, and July 4.1%. Ford has made yet another donation to a homosexual group pushing homosexual marriage. And they continued supporting homosexual marriage with ads in two homosexual publications—The Advocate and OUT. Ford is listed by Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) as being a "Topaz" sponsor of PFLAG. PFLAG did not identify the specific amount required to be a Topaz sponsor, perhaps because they did not want the amount made public. Nevertheless, it requires a considerable sum to be a PFLAG "Topaz" sponsor. Here is the policy statement from PFLAG: "PFLAG supports revision of federal and state statutes to extend to persons in same-gender committed relations the right to marry with the full legal rights and benefits, as well as responsibilities and obligations." PFLAG is a leader in promoting the pro-homosexual agenda and legalizing homosexual marriage Ford obviously agreed with the goal of PFLAG to legalize homosexual marriage, else they would not have made the donation to help PFLAG. When Parents and Friends of Ex-Gays (PFOX), an organization helping homosexuals come out of the homosexual lifestyle, asked Ford for a grant, Ford refused. In fact, in our research AFA did not find that Ford gave a donation of any amount to any organization helping those who want out of the homosexual lifestyle. Ford says they are committed to diversity, but their definition of diversity is evidently confined to supporting only pro-homosexual organizations. Ford continued their support of the homosexual lifestyle by advertising in the August, 2006 issues of both The Advocate and OUT. They placed a full page ad in OUT and two full pages in The Advocate. Ford has been supporting homosexual media with advertising for years. What kind of material is Ford supporting? In the Advocate, pictorial contents inside the magazines are so offensive that we could not include them in this mailing. Here are some titles of the articles in the magazines: Is Porn An Option, At Your Service (male escort), The Book Of Lesbian Love, Five Sex Tips For Gay Men, Five Sex Tips For Lesbians, and Private D--K In A Hard Place. According to the Detroit Free Press, Ford "donates hundreds of thousands of dollars to homosexual groups, sponsors gay pride parades, and holds mandatory diversity training..."

For Love or Money

Via RightFaith comes this eyeopening piece about the creme de la creme (or so they say) of the homosexual community and the real reason marriage is attractive to them.

RightFaith says "According to this statement, same-sex marriage is only the beginning of the 'legal relationships' they seek. Additionally, they explicitly state that their push is not about equality (as they often say) it's all about money. The word 'economic' appear no less than 17 times in this short statement."

I've said it before, homosexuals, or at least the court case couples, are not marrying for love. That's the "official" media statement. What they really want is to get their fingers on the goody bag. Another thing I noticed about the signers of this statement. Out of the 250 who signed, fewer than seven are black. I don't want to suggest anything, but gay marriage seems to be more of an obsession for one particularly priveleged group of people.

As RightFaith notes, the homosexual community is a vortex of contradictory assertions about themselves. Generally, they play the game to either make themselves look powerful or to make themselves look poor, victimized and abused depending on what media outlet has the camera on them.

GLBTer's are inconsistent in how they portray their economic status. Attempting to appear victims of oppression by the big, bad, rich conservatives, Beyond Marriage attempts to portray GLBTer's as struggling to make ends meet. They do this to gain the sympathy and support of the gracious America people. BUT, when it comes to persuading corporations and influencing policy they pull out favorable statistics like this: "The GLBT community is estimated to possess $641 billion in purchasing power. When this number is multiplied by the similar spending patterns of our allies and supporters, this buying power increases exponentially." Both powerfully rich and oppressively poor--an impressive accomplishment indeed. Simply put, they can't have it both ways.

Astonishing, simply depraved and astonishing. RightFaith's conclusion is one I wholeheartedly agree with: "Either this is the proverbial nail in the coffin for the same-sex marriage push in America, or it will be their grandest moment."

Dallas gay priest's racist, potty mouth

You wouldn't believe some of the stuff so-called gay Christians say! Well, I know you wouldn't that's why I am exposing this foul mouthed --not to mention racist-- gay "clergyman" from Dallas. He, too was "angry" and couldn't I guess just control his words. Rev. Stephen Waller (pictured) of Saint Thomas the Apostle Episcopal Church, where the majority of the members are gay or lesbian is a bit profane.

A friend of mine in Dallas, who incidentally is a black Episcopalian, wrote me to say:

"You need to blog on the sacrilegious, racist comments by the HP rector (pastor) in the Observer story. Archbishop Peter Akinola of Nigeria leads the strongest, largest Anglican contingent inside OR outside the US, is highly educated and is widely considered the most powerful person in Anglicanism next to the Archbishop of Canterbury, Rowan Williams (the head honcho). Archbishop Akinola is also strongly opposed to homosexuality -- as are his followers. So the "deepest, darkest Africa" comment really ticked me off. What the rector was REALLY saying is "we don't have to listen to those ignorant n------." Not to mention his dropping the F-bomb in the interview."

From the Dallas Observer (Warning: long story): Waller's racist comments are prefaced by the predictable "we let black people in our church, therefore... What a badge of honor.

The Episcopal Church has always been a church of inclusion, Waller says. This very church, Saint Thomas the Apostle, which today has 250 to 300 members, was one of the first white churches in Dallas to allow a black woman to worship with them. It was one of the first churches with a female priest. And it was one of the first churches to open its doors to gays.

Waller's next statement launches the F-bomb. Perhaps, that's considered ordinary language for gay priests. The Bible asks "does a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter?" (James 3:11) Apparently so when the fountain is Stephen Waller's mouth. Waller was angry at Rev. Canon David Rosenberry of Plano, TX for his opposition to homosexuality.

"My grasp of truth, I believe, is a bit wider than his is, and I don't know why his has to be so narrow. It's unfortunate. He's got a wonderful thing going, why does he have to fuck it up?"

More bittersweet from the fountain of Stephen Waller.

"I think what's going on with the conservative right in the Episcopal Church is causing all of us to have to prop up the building, and we wouldn't have to do it if they would just settle down. The general convention made its decision to elect Katharine Jefferts Schori presiding bishop, and nobody's head fell off. Gene Robinson is the only partnered gay bishop that we know of. We've made a decision that we're not likely to elect and consecrate somebody else because we don't want to offend anybody in the deepest, darkest Africa about this. What else do you want? What they want is Gene's head on a platter and Katharine to be a guy,"

This stuff keeps seeping out and really makes you wonder just how widespread it is. As some gay activists have indicated to me concerning the Adam Kautz thing, racism is everywhere. But what they don't want to do is take responsibility for the unhinged racism coming out of their own community. As I have said before, instead of running around accusing the world-at-large of homophobia, how about taking a good hard look at the racists sitting on your own front porch?

Racist, deathwisher Kautz posting on Exgaywatch again

As if to somehow cover his own violent racism, homosexual activist Adam Kautz is now comfortably posting again at exgaywatch comparing the debunked Mathew Shephard story to exgw's lone "christian" gay expert, Timothy Kincaid's predictable name it and blame it game. Kincaid opines:

"When you falsely characterize someone as the enemy of society, you are morally responsibly when society beats them half to death. The political ex-gay ministries need to take an objective look to see if they have blood on their hands."

Responds Kautz:

"yes but do you remember the ?Matthew Sheppard murder? Russell Henderson was a Mormon and in the Mormon Church Church leaders have stated that homosexuality is a sin worse than adultery and an abomination, so what this told Henderson was that it was ok to kill Matthew Sheppard as he was less than a human being. I only know this about Mormon Doctrine as I was a member of that church."

This why gay spin is so insiduous. Once they launch a 90% lie, others pick it up and run with it. Kautz repeats the 90 percenter, but fails to say that Henderson had been excommunicated from the Mormon church. He was hardly the "religious conservative" homosexual activists want him to be. Henderson was a murderer. Nothing more, nothing less. But the added salacious bit of him being a Mormon murderer who killed a gay man is what fits the 90% lie of gay religionists like Kincaid and his apparent mentee, Adam Kautz.

I wonder if Kautz wishes that I also are killed in a Matthew Shepard fashion? After all he (1)falsely characterizes me as the enemy of society and (2)supports Kincaid's idea that such a person is willfully compliant in the resultant death. That would make Kautz and Kincaid equally culpable if someone, reading their words, decided to carry out Kautz's deathwish against me.

Adam Kautz: snapshot of growing hate

Adam Kautz, the Olympia, WA homosexual activist who fell off the deep end and vocalized his fervent wish to see me dead, didn't just start yesterday. He has a long history of vocalizing a mounting disdain for former homosexuals and the larger exgay movement which eventually led to his meltdown of hate emails to me.
Most of his deathwish journey has been posted on Exgaywatch and Wayne Besen.com. XGW by their own admission only reprimanded him once in 11 times. They deleted his comments. We wonder why and what did he say? More death wishes?

Adam Kautz: white, gay racist

Remember "judah22"? His name is Adam B. Kautz and he lives in Olympia, Washington. Well, anyway he didn't like my response to his accusation of narcissism. So, Adam went off the deep end. Racism, violence and foaming-at-the-mouth evil. Yep, he did it all. Here's his unedited email sent to me on Wednesday:

"I hope someone kills you soon you piece of NIGGER shit. I certainly hope someday you piss off the wrong person and you get killed as a result, you ugly NIGGER, Thats RIght Big fat ugly NIGGER You were never gay to begin with you can never provide incontrovertible proof that you ever were which means you are a liar, a liar and a NIGGER. I hope that person kills you in the most painful manner imaginable."

Twenty minutes later, after Adam had got his KKK membership card hole punched for the 10th time, he let me know that he was "motivated" to join Herr Wayne Besen. Remember him? So not only was Adam Kautz a closet KKK member, he was also inspired by Besen's storm trooper tactics. Here's his next unedited email:

"Your response on your blog has motivated me to contribute to truth wins out. I can't wait till they destroy your "so-called ex-fag ministries". We will win because the truth is on our side and so is GOD. You know you have made god in your image when god hates everything you do. Your reaction just tells us that you know your goose is cooked. Oh and if god raptures anyone it most likely will be us queers that you hate so much. After I sent the emails to yahoo abuse department, I called the Olympia PD and my local police. Not, that I'm frightened of Adam, he just needs help and maybe some punishment for his really bad behavior.

Don't you just love those "social justice" churches? You know, the ones where God is replaced with man and everyone is just one big "loving, tolerant and accepting" family. But there's one thing social justice churches won't tolerate its not including homosexuals as "equal partners".

The church, according to the Bible, is supposed to be a place where the authority of God is expressed and appreciated in HIS worship, service and obedience. But not for gay activists who want "equality". They are less concerned with obedience to God and obsessed with "equality". If you've ever wondered what homosexual activists want preachers to preach, here's a blazing example from the newly formed religious wing of the National Black Justice Coalition. The group is a consortium of homosexuality affirming (liberal) black clergy and the homosexual religionists who puppet them. Nevermind that God said he would give us pastors after his heart. Gay activists want to reshape pastors and their churches into a place where sin is OK. If you allow one sin to be accepted and tolerated... Pastors beware: This is a queer eye for the pastor guy makeover alert!

Don't laugh, they're serious. The church is simply another place to achieve "equality". I put equality in quotes because their definition of equality clashes with the biblical definition. Headed by the overbearingly arrogant Eric Michael Dyson, a self described "public intellectual", Faithful Call coaches church pastors on what they should be preaching on Sunday morning:

Boykin wrong on Cosby...and black men

What a milestone ladies and gentlemen!, what a milestone!
Ok, now back to work.

I'm confused. Before you start in with all the smart wisecracks let me tell you why. Perhaps after hearing it, you may be somewhat confused too.

The problem lies with gay activist Keith Boykin, whose commentary on "race and sexuality" is supposed to be really cool. At least that's what most of his followers think. But I guess even the best of us can get mixed up somedays. The other day Boykin got upset with Bill Cosby about something Cosby said about black men. "Cosby has it wrong about black men", he wrote emphatically. Well Bill has been ruffling a lot of feathers lately. You know he's been telling black folk to tighten up on the tighten up. Bill is kicking crutches and taking names. I'll reserve my judgment on his rightness or wrongness, but I was curious as to what made Boykin declare with such finality that Cosby was wrong about black men.

Angry at the press for their portrayal of black men, Cosby said,

"I'm not interested in hearing that things aren't as bad as they seem. They're horrible."

Cosby was angry because liberal flagship Washington Post, surmised through a survey that most black men are doing ok nowadays. 80% of black men surveyed said they were satisfied with their live and 6 out of 10 said it was a good time to be a black man. Well, for years liberals have decried the state of the black man in America. You know the drill:

More black men in jail than in college

Black men are arrested at higher rates and are sentenced to longer times.

Black men make up the highest percentages of unemployment

Black male high school dropouts are triple the rate of their white counterparts

Of course, liberals like Boykin have always attributed this to racism and discrimination. Since George Bush took office, liberals elected him whipping boy-in-chief for the ills of the black man.

So, Bill Cosby is right, right? Things are really bad for black men in America. But according to Keith Boykin, one of the President's constant critics, Cosby is wrong. Huh? Okay, we got that part.
But on the day prior, Boykin (writing on the suicide death of a black gay man) opines "Its not easy being a black man. Its not easy being a black man who loves black men."

What do you think? Is life better for black men in America, is it worse or has it stayed the same?

Repair Africa set to launch ministry campaign

August will herald the massive launch of Repair Africa's campaign to spread the news about overcoming ministry to the men and women of Nigeria. Rev. Kingsley Nwafor, Executive Director, told Perspectives that 5,000 copies of the poster (above) will be distributed all over the capitol city of Lagos.

With the emergence of some homosexual groups in Africa who unfortunately are spreading the American version of "tolerance and acceptance", Pastor Kingsley believes the message of truth and healing should be front and center for those who choose not to embrace homosexuality.

"The spiritual battle for Africa and the rest of the world can only be won when we all join our hands together in prayer concerning issues like homosexuality.", he said. Pastor Nwafor believes that the answer to homosexuality in Africa lies in a biblically educated perspective. Repair Africa, formerly GayAid, has been a partner ministry with Witness since 2003 and has a mission to spread a message of change and transformation for African peoples struggling with homosexuality.

Church and state battles

After reading this [reg may be required], here are my thoughts:

1. City government should just pass an ordinance levying property taxes, with a grandfather clause to pre-existing organizations.

2. Although the mayor says he doesn't hate God, he clearly has an unexplainable animosity towards Christianity, some of it bordering on racism. He calls the different ethnically grouped churches "varieties of Christianity".

3. The LA Times reporter tries to paint the churches in as bad a light as possible. She said the yellow dots representing churches on the director of permit's board "meld into a big yellow glob."

Being that I am strongly against 501c3 restrictions for churches, this to me clearly represents a desire of the godless liberal left to further diminish the role of the church(or churches which do not cowtow to liberal politics) in America.
Says Independent Conservative: "We are in times in America where Churches in their efforts to spread the Gospel are sometimes speaking on political matters. When this happens some churches put themselves in a tricky situation. Because churches that signed on with the government as a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization knowingly or unknowingly agreed to rules that bind what they can and cannot say in the pulpit. Many who have agreed to 501(c)(3) rules don't realize all the restrictions they have agreed to."

I agree completely. 501c3 "status" is not status at all, its a government system designed to track and penalize churches. However unwittingly far too many churches have been duped into thinking that 501c3 status is a mark of credibility. It is but only with government approval. Learn more about this wicked system here.

So I get this email the other day from "judah22". Its one of the rare ones that I get from homosexual activists which isn't laced with sexual profanity and sexual threats. Which, BTW tells you where there minds really are. But that's another post for another time. "judah22" wrote to tell me that I was a narcissicist and along with me, listed other "narcissistic" groups as part of a consortium of "hateful evangelical christians". Even though he said I would "dismiss" it, I told him I would reply to it on the blog. Have a read:

"The lord said that false prophets would come and lead the sheep astray and you would know them by the results of their labors. What are the results of your labors and people like you. Matthew Sheppard, Danny Overstreet, Billy Jack Gaither, Gwen Aroujo Brandon Teena, and all others who have been killed or maimed because of hateful rhetoric from people like you. I know you probably will dismiss this e-maill[sic] because you somehow believe you are saved in heaven, but let me tell you this us glbt people would rather spend an eternity in hell with all our friends and family, than even one moment in heaven with haters like you and the AFA, CWFA , FOTF, FRC, SBC and other hateful evangelical christians. I would prefer my friends to you any day. Oh and If you really want to know one of the characteristics of a narcissist is that they are very religious so basically all people of faith are narcissists."

Three points I want to address in judah22's email:
First, "judah22" recites a sort hybrid form of scripture to fit his accusation against me and others who oppose homosexuality.
Here's what Christ actually said: "For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform signs and miracles to deceive the elect,if that were possible." Matthew 13:22
These false christs and prophets will appear and perform "signs and miracles". I wouldn't think that "murder" is hardly a sign or a miracle directly connected to narcicissim. And not one of the killers of the aforementioned people were Christians in any sense of the word nor has it been shown that they ingested a steady diet of anything by me or the groups listed. For example look at the case of Danny Overstreet. And I don't think that you have a good foundational understanding of scripture. You may need to work on that some more.

Secondly, judah22 you say that homosexuals would rather spend an eternity in hell than be in heaven one moment with Christians. Wow, thats a ton of hate! Out of your own mouth, you may have sealed your fate with those words unless you change them. Hopefully, you're not speaking for all homosexuals or your friends and family.

Finally, there's this definition of narcissism you've stated. You claim its characteristic of "very religious" people. Perhaps, but then again it could be a trait of people in general, despite one's religion or lack thereof, which in that case would include yourself and most of the homosexuals you said wanted to spend eternity in hell. Just a hypothesis, ok? You cite nothing to support your claim nor do you define what "very religious" means. So the whole thing could orbit into a hypothetical stratosphere forever. However, like the hybrid scripture, it appears to be something of your own invention, crafted to fit your perfunctionary accusations. Now, according to most in the psychiatric field, narcissism is a pattern of traits and behaviours which signify infatuation and obsession with one's self to the exclusion of all others and the egotistic and ruthless pursuit of one's gratification, dominance and ambition.

Although it says nothing about being very religious, there's more on narcissim here.

You've got to hand it to Nathan Bradfield. He's articulate, convincing, and nice to the homosexual affirming liberals responding to his post Seven Myths about Homosexuality. Nathan's post refuted in great detail the fake beliefs liberals keep spouting about homosexuality. What I really like about Nathan is how he handled the acidic comments from the moonbats and webmonkeys.
Some of them, like some who come here have nothing productive to contribute to the discussion. All they want to do is pigeon drop tired, worn out statements like the one from "homer" who said: "For a supposedly straight guy, you are certainly obsessed with the gays." I answered that here.

Marriage survives Washington state attack

Breaking news from the American Family Association:
Olympia, WA - In a long-awaited decision, the Washington State Supreme Court today ruled that Washington's law banning gay marriage does not violate the state constitution. The ruling reversed two lower court decisions striking the state statute as unconstitutional.
Today's ruling leaves Massachusetts as the only state whose high court has created a right to gay marriage, though unlike Washington, Massachusetts had no law banning gay marriage.

In its opinion, the court observed, "Although marriage has evolved, it has not included a history and tradition of same-sex marriage in this nation or in Washington State. . . . It cannot be overemphasized that our state constitution provides for a representative democracy and that the people, who have consented to be governed, speak through their elected representatives. When no fundamental right or suspect class exists, the public consensus, as evidenced by legislation adopted after robust debate, must be given great deference."

In his dissent, Justice Bridge complained, "what we have done is permit the religious and moral strains of DOMA to justify the state's intrusion [upon the rights of same-sex partners]." Brian Fahling, Senior Trial Attorney for the American Family Association Center for Law & Policy (CLP), noted that "unlike the Massachusetts' court's ruling where a right to gay marriage was created, Washington has rejected the ex nihilo creation of gay marriage which rests upon a view of rights which detaches them from nature, locates them in the sovereignty of individual conscience, and then cloaks them with the dignity of law when enough judges can be persuaded to bypass the legislature and impose their own will on the citizens."

"The court is to be applauded for exercising restraint and leaving determinations about life's most fundamental institution in the hands of the people," added Fahling CLP Chief Counsel said: "It's a great day for marriage, for the family, and for America. Nevertheless, we must remain mindful that this battle is far from over, and we must be ready to defend marriage anywhere, anytime, and at all costs."

Three of the nine Supreme Court justices are up for election this year. And it is the same court that in a 7-2 decision placed the parental rights of a homosexual partner who help to raise a child on par with the rights of the child's biological parents.

Fahling said today's decision will favorably impact the case of Leskovar v. Nickels which challenged Seattle Mayor Gregory Nickels' executive order requiring that all City of Seattle Departments recognize same-sex marriages of City employees in the same manner as opposite-sex marriages are recognized. The case, filed by the CLP, was pending on appeal when the Anderson case was filed and then taken up by the Washington Supreme Court.

First, they touted how long they had been together as proof that so-called long term, loving, monogamous homosexual relationships do work.
Now, they are coming apart at the seams, because in actuality, they were just front cases for the activists judges to circumvent the will of the people and gay activists to score another social "win".

The latest court case marriage to disintegrate is that of Julie and Hillary Goodridge, the lead plaintiffs in the Massachusetts gay marriage lawsuit. This is a strange one indeed. Prior to their breakup, the women had plenty to say to the media. Goodridge and Goodridge allegedly had been together 17 years. Smiling, smooching, showing off their child. Now, three years after the court case wedding, they will only speak through a "communications consultant". Then, there was this marital epiphany of sorts only a child could see. The now de-relationshipped couple claimed the four year old child told them "they couldn't love each other because they weren't married."

I'm not saying they're lying, but that's one tall tale if I ever heard one. You got married because a four year old said you couldn't love each other unless you were? But the four year old wasn't smart enough to know that the two of you were women and two women shouldn't be married to each other, let alone "loving" each other? (In another story, they pair said that it was because one of the women couldn't see the child when she was born.) Wow, talk about agendas and lifestyles.

CREATING MORE COURT CASE MARRIAGES

So...its about "commitment" and "trust"? At least, that's what they claim in these smiling, media-ready ads. See above.

But despite the failures, hard nosed activists are forging ahead to create the perfect court case marriage for America to see.
The man who married the Goodridges, William Sinkford, a black Unitarian gay rights supporter, on yesterday went further and signed onto a homosexual propaganda campaign called "Marriage Matters" The sheer hypocrisy of Sinkford to make himself a slave to the homosexual movement while criticizing black preachers who stand against gay marriage is astonishing. Also, I'm just wondering why they didn't get Goodridge and Goodridge to appear in the campaign? Funny, they were real popular when they could get the gays a court win.

Don't be fooled by the signers of Marriage Matters. They are primarily inhouse gay activists and leftist supporters. The religious ones are just that: religious, known more for their devotion to gay activism than devotion to God.

"America!", as Bernie Mac would warn, don't be fooled by court case marriages.

You may not have heard about the homosexual reconstructionist movement. That's because they deny they even have an "agenda". They don't have a "lifestyle" either. At other times, they flippantly mock what is called the gay agenda. Be warned this is part and parcel of a misguided and dangerous attempt to surgically reassign American moral values.

Reassignment surgery is not a new concept to the gay community, especially since it embraces and defends the "rights" of men who want to cut off their genitals and feign the appearance of a woman. And let's not forget about the women, who believe they are actually men "trapped" in a woman's body, therefore they too need to have their genitals altered surgically and feign the appearance of a man. The homosexual/transgender community acually thinks this is healthy! But then again, just about everything normal is abnormal in this reconstructionist thinking. This may truly shock you, but the gay communuity loves change. But only when it benefits their ~~agenda~~ ~~lifestyle~~ what they want to accomplish.

In the book After the Ball, homosexual social engineers Kirk and Madsen, laid out in chilling fashion the plans of the homosexual movement. Down to the letter, it has been carried out by the unwitting foot soldiers and court test cases drummed up by overzealous homosexual lawyers. ATB remains the gay reconstructionist movement's prescient landmark on the road to what they hope is the ultimate homosexualization of America. Recontructionist leaders such as Andrew Sullivan, Bruce Bauwer, Gabriel Rotello, and Michelangelo Signorile have taken the pragmatic pronouncements of ATB and parlayed them into gay-for-pay careers.

Of course to them, its just a simple matter of getting their rights. You know the right to live in a house, the right to own and drive a car, the right to vote, the right to congregate, the right to do-what-they-do behind closed doors. Average rights, right? If America would just comply with homosexual demands for complete and unlimited freedom in all sectors of religious, government, education and society, they would be quiet and live happily ever after. It reminds me of Stpehen King's chiller-thriller The Storm of the Century. In it, the demon-man repeats to the townspeople over and over: "give me what I want and I'll go away". He forced them into compliance with overpowering acts of violence. What he wanted was to secure his future through one of THEIR children.

Like the people of Little Tall Island found out, giving the demon what he wanted came with a heavy price. America be forewarned: gay rights will only work at the expense of America's moral underpinnings. Which to homosexuals is akin to the Berlin Wall. With the moral code sitting by watching its every move, they have no choice but to destroy it. Just like the arabs who want to wipe Isreal off the face of the earth, homosexuals --even if they achieved the rights they seek-- would not enjoy them as long as the moral code is alive. Or moral.

Hence the plan to kidnap, circumvent and ultimately destroy what Americans now believe to be moral and immoral. Or better yet, simply switch the two like the a deranged woman in a hospital maternity ward.

This thing about reassignment surgery is a popular tool with the gay crowd. Its "morality" lies in the concocted concept that people must be free to be who they are. That sounds nice and Americanish. Freedom is our last name. But the questionable aspect of this nurality (new morality) is just who or what is it that the person fancies themselves to be?

Jews, Christians and Muslims outraged over the proposed flaunting of aberrant sexual lifestyles in the Holy City of Jerusalem can breathe a tenous sigh of relief. The homosexual sexfest "WorldPride" has been cancelled.

According to LifeSite News, Jerusalem police told organizers they would not have the forces available to ensure the security of the gay pride march, the central event of the weeklong festival scheduled for August 6 to 12.

Gays "target" some black lawmakers

Homosexuals are targeting some 36 congressional representatives who refused to sign on the dotted line of homosexual marriage. Among them are six black lawmakers who drew the ire of the activists. The activists accused the group of independent thinkers of siding with Republicans in a "scheme".

Representatives Sanford Bishop of Georgia's 2nd District and David Scott of Georgia's 13th District have both been targeted by the Stonewall Democrats for not voting in favor of homosexual marriage. The gay group is urging its supporters to call and voice dissaproval to the congressmen.
I am urging Georgians to let Reps Bishop and Scott know that standing up for what's right will never go out of style as long as men like them hold fast to what is good for our country. Tell them you appreciate and expect them to vote the way they do.

Fundamentalism redefined

I didnt know anything about "dancehall" music. When it did enter into my circumference of knowledge it was only through the incessant criticisms of gay activists who claimed the lyrics and artists were "homophobic". I don't listen to dancehall music at all. It just doesnt interest me, but I was intrigued at the growing backlash mostly coming from gay activist groups in Britain and finally in the US. Wikipedia had this interesting assessment of the music and its rift with homosexuality.

"Dancehall lyrics have been criticized by pockets of Jamaican society with little or no state endorsement. It has also faced the slaughter of intellectual criticism in the media, particularly by the likes of popular Jamaican journalists, like Ian Boyne. Dancehall has also come to face scathing criticism from the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender community, as they claim that it perpetuates violence against [GLBT] people in Jamaica (where such people are often referred to in dancehall lyrics as "chi-chi man"), most notably through its lyrics in songs by such DJs as Beenie Man and Buju Banton.
Dancehall is just short of being a movement, but does have the characteristics of a cosmology as it is a culture and a lens through which people see the world. This cosmology and cultural phenomenon carries with it a linguistic component. Terms such as "bun" in the Dancehall, which is an abbreviation of "burn," do not carry with them a very literal understanding as it may in European cultures. Hence, phrases like "bun sodomites" will not mean, to literally burn sodomites, but function more as a line of descent: it is an exaggeration used to indicate serious disapproval."

Its strange how gay activists rail against taking the Bible literally. This is why we are called, in a derogatory way, fundamentalists. But with dancehall music, even though the artists themselves say it is only metaphorical, homosexuals insist on a literal rendering of the lyrics.

Love the homophobe, hate the homophobia

Have you noticed that gays have their own version of the "love the sinner, hate the sin" cliche? Although they complain all the time when Christians use it, homosexuals seem to have no problem trotting it out when it suits their agenda, especially when they are up in arms against the dreaded sin of 'homophobia'.

In his recent campaign against Jamaican dancehall artists, gay activist Keith Boykin and supporters used several variations of the mantra to stop a concert aimed at getting AIDS information into the hands of young blacks who subscribe to that genre of music.

Boykin: "I told him that I understood and supported the purpose of the concert, but felt it was completely innapropriate to invite these two artists."

Boykin even went further demanding that the two Jamaican artists (gasp!) change. Imagine that, a gay activist wanting someone to change who they are. "Beenie Man and TOK are two of the worst homophobes in the music industry. For LIFEbeat to give a platform to them is unacceptable and intolerable. Their mere presence is offensive enough unless and until they renounce their homophobia."

Black British homosexual activists Topher Campbell and Ajamu wrote to LIFEbeat, saying "Whilst we support a person's right to express anti-gay views we cannot and do not support the right of anybody to advocate the death and beating of gay and lesbian people."

To beef up their protest, the activsts falsely claimed that the murders of two Jamaican homosexual activists were because of dancehall music. Information I received from people I personally talked to while in Jamaica does not support that notion. Furthermore, the police concluded the murder of Brian Williamson was a result of a robbery. There was never any conclusive evidence found to even suggest Williamson was killed as a result of any 'homophobia'. More here. Mostly, it was just the predictable rantings of the activist group JFLAG (Jamaican Forum for Lebsian, All Sexuals and Gays).

Despite not having any evidence to prove their assertion, Boykin and company explicitly stated the opposite to make their love the homophobe, hate the homophobia case. The flier circulated by Boykin contained an outright lie. It stated that Williamson and Hervey were two "victims" of the dancehall artists. Boykin and protestors pointed out the lyrics of the artists call for the "burning and hanging" of homosexuals. Yet, there has not been one single case of any gays or lesbians in Jamaica being burned at the stake or hung. Perhaps that suggests people are not listening to the dancehall artists after all.

The whole case of painting Jamaica to be the most "homophobic place on earth" is pretty much a farce. During my last trip to Jamaica in May, I saw --numerous times-- men who at the very least, appeared to be openly homosexual walking the streets of Kingston. Some, by the way they dressed and acted, were obviously gay. I didn't see anyone gawking at them or chasing them or acting violently towards any of these people. In fact, a Jamaican man told me that most people knew gays and lesbians and didn't have a problem with them. So how is Jamaica so bad? The activists always use Williamson and Lenford Hervey as poster boys to in their quest to paint Jamaica as a place where no homosexual could ever live. To put it in perspective Jamaica has had a lot of murders. Period. Police attribute major causes to fighting between gangs of political activists in the capital, Kingston. Not widespread, wanton targeted killing of homosexuals. So it would be patently false to point to the murders of two men as evidence of alleged widespread violence against homosexuals. Especially when neither of the two men were murdered because of their homosexuality (Police arrest four for murder of Hervey).

Why haven't I posted?

Just an update as to why you haven't seen any new posts here in recent days. Well, our church is moving to new facilities and its a lot of work. Plus, I am preparing for a major church convention next week so my time is really tight. I hope to get back to posting when I have a spare moment.
